Stop on a dime
If your current pads are worn down even a small bit, you will notice a huge difference when you put new renthal pads on! And its pointless if you don't buy the front break pads as well. These 2 combined are better than the OEM pads and last longer too! fairly simple installation even for people who don't know what their doing.

Renthal Brake Pads
I just put on these new front pads and they are as good if not better than EBC and Braking brand pads I've used in the past. A slightly firmer feel at the lever and the overall stop power is superb. Time will tell on the durability.

Not too sure, life span of your pads depend on your riding style and the conditions your riding in. They should last a decent amount of time though.
