  • Dunlop MX51 motorcycle tires feature a new profile design with more tread volume in the shoulders for excellent cornering grip and more open center-tread for straight-line traction.
  • The updated recessed biting edge built into the shoulder knobs of the Dunlop Geomax MX51 improve cornering traction and rut performance in a wider range of terrain conditions.
  • The tie-bar design connects and reinforces the tread blocks of the Dunlop MX51 for greater tread stiffness resulting in improved intermediate-to-hard terrain performance.

Pretty basic tire
These have been good tires for me. I don't use anything else. They definitely grip on the edges a little better than other tires. They are a bit of a beast to get on a rim. Also, I use the tire everywhere I go, from sand and mud to hard pack. So it probably wears faster than a hard pack tire would. If you use it on actual intermediate dirt only, it would likely last a lot longer.

Good tire... but...
Good tire, my son and I conducted a little experiment. We put a MX 51 on his bike and a Bridgstone 404 on my bike. Both great tires, however the 404 last longer... We ride each others bikes and as far as traction, handeling there is little or no diffrence... just how often do you want to change tires?

The tire was great while it lasted.. i put 3 races and about 6 practices on it and its really worn now. while it was in god shape it really hooked up tho but not worth the money for how long it lasted

Best tire ever
i used to run bridgestone tires on my ktm 250 sx-f but then a pro enduro rider told me to try this tire out and it is by far the best tire i have ever used it hold of great in the woods and on the track. this tire has great grip all around.

Great tire
I have run at least three of these tires on my sons RM85 on all sorts of tracks and it has held up very will as will as have great traction and handling abilities. I still run it on his YZ125 now.
