Terrible fit and poor instructions but durable

The instructions included are awful and the fit is also terrible. I went to the works connection website and apparently the model purchased from motosport has been superseded by another model. For the high price of these parts, good instructions should be provided and the fit should also be just as good. To be fair, the braces are very durable once you get through the nightmare of installation. My advice would be to check around for the updated model since i assume that the new model resolved these issues.

Just ok.

Used these racing offroad. They are a good product but very thin and any impact to the radiators head on bends these braces. Motocross these are great but any chance you might hit something... Go with a full cage brace/guard.

Works Connection customer service works!

Because the Works Connection braces have replaceable parts, I was able to buy only a small bracket instead of a whole brace due to a crash, which actually saved the radiator. The WC customer service was excellent and I had the new bracket in a couple of days!

Perfect fit.

Bolt on protection that far exceeds stock plastic durability. Looks decent too.

Must Have

Great Product worth the price of not having to replace a radiator.

The Works Connection Radiator Braces will fit, just make sure to profile your bikes make, model and year correctly as they are model specific.

Will braces work with ims oversized tank 2014 crf250?
MotoSport Staff
Over 6 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
The Works Connection braces are designed only to fit with stock tanks. While they may work with some aftermarket tanks, Works Connection does not test them this way so fitment cannot be guaranteed.

Are these the universal braces made for 05-09 models?

As long as they are built to OEM specifications they should work.

no they are not compatible with the PWR radiators

They for sure did not line up on my 2007 RMZ450. I can't say for all bikes that they won't work, but the top eyelet was about 1/2 inch off on mine, and I returned them.

I have devol radiator guards.. can i use these in addition? the devol guards have a single arm that braces to lower shroud bolt?
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Tualatin
I do know that people have used them in conjunction before but sometimes it may take a little tweaking or cutting of the inside of the shroud.

Will these work with aftermarket rads such as fluidyne?
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
These are designed to work with the OEM radiators. If your aftermarket radiators are wider than stock you will probably have mounting issues. But if the radiators are comparable to OEM you'll be fine.

They should. They simply mount where the side radiator plastic shroud does.
