WOW

The QS3 did just what they say no more bog witch in turn freed up alot more of my crf 450's bottom end power, pulls alot better out of the tight corners. Great product. Easy to install expect for the fact you have to tear half the bike apart to get the carb out but it was in the carb in less then 5 minutes after pulling the it, fit perfect, looks good easy to adjust, what can i say another awesome product from Boyesen

Its a night and day difference no more bog whatsoever no matter how hard i gap the throttle, I knew it would help but never thought it would be this jurastic! If your looking for the fuel injection response look no further this is bolt on fuel injection!

I added an FMF pipe and had a horrible flat spot on the Lowe end. I added the Boyesen QS3 and all was well with the world. The bike pulls cleanly from idle to flat out. It also starts well. I could not be happier. I can not give a high rating on durability as I just got it. But knowing Boyesens rep I can give it a guess as top quality as with all their products I have used on my 2 smoker RMB in the 70's.

Carful about clearance

On my Ktm 250sxf the adjust screw on bottom did not have clearance on engine case. It snapped of and made it useless.

Without being there to know how exactly the bike is running, It would be very difficult for me to accurately help you jet your bike. There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a motorcycle with a service department to have it properly jetted.

Looking for best quick shot device made for 2012 yz 250f?

The Boyesen Quickshot 3 would be great for your 2012 Yamaha YZ250F. Boyesen also makes the Boyesen Quick Start Kit that features an Integrated Hot Start Assist eliminates problem 4-stroke hot start procedure. I would recommend either the Quickshot 3 or Quickstart kit for your bike.

QS3 vs QS2?
Is the main advantage of the QS3 being that it is adjustable?

Yes, the Quickshot 3 is basically a newer version of the Quickshot 2 with a tunable leak jet circuit that maximizes volume of fuel and duration of fuel spray for any condition.

Will it really fit my bike???
Hi, I have a '03 KTM 450EXC-Racing with the RFS motor and the electric starter. I noticed that there's not a lot of room between the carb and the starter. With the carb in your hand it's always fine, but I don't really know excatly where the adjusting screws will be placed with the carb in place. So my fear is that I may break something while installing or riding the bike... and not talking about the access to the adjusting screw after installation... Will this device REALLY fit my bike???

It would definitely fit the Keihin FCR carburetor on your KTM. It's really hard to say without seeing the clearance between the bottom of the carb and the top of the starter motor on your KTM 450 EXC. The bottom of the cover and adjusting screw come down a bit further than the OEM cover. The adjustment screw is angled down and out towards the left side of the bike for easy access. I would say you would need a around an inch of clearance below your Carburetor to install and use this properly.

I have a leakage of oil on the bolt on cover where the oil filter goes.?
Im wondering if this might be the part? i ride an 08 yamaha 250f

This is a carburetor part to replace the stock accelerator pump cover. This has no relation to the oil filter and would not fix the problem you are having. More than likely your oil filter cover o-ring's are leaking. It is very hard to say without seeing the bike but typically this would be the issue. The oil filter o-rings can be found in the OEM parts for your 2008 YZ250f here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/YAMAHA/2008/YZ250F/OIL-CLEANER

Does this product come with replacement seals or do you need stock pieces?
I was going to buy a rebuild kit for my carb because one of the O-rings got damaged. I would rather buy this and solve my low end issues if it means those o-rings come with it.
1 year ago Location: La Grande, OR 97850, USA
No it does not come with o rings you just use the factory o rings. I would highly recommend still running the qs3 i love mine on my bike very nice if you ride year round and at different elevations

This product unfortunately does not include the o-rings. Still a very good product and does help with tuning at different elevations and temperatures when changes need to be made.
Over 10 months ago Location: Lake Arrowhead, CA, USA
It doesn't you have to use the o ring and diaphragm that was on the carb.
