Great riding pants
I would have given these a 5 star, but the sizing is terrible. I can normally wear a 30 to 31 waist, but I had to go to a 34 (I originally ordered a 32 - way too small). The zip off at the knees is great for when you get back to camp or the truck.

I love these pants! Fit is great and I like the fact that they have a pant that goes inside the boot and one that goes on the outside the boot. Makes them very relaxed fitting.

Great Pants
These are great pants but they do run a little small. They feel very comfortable and light weight which is very nice in the summer. Great product.

Am i getting fat?
i tore a huge rip in my 2006 static "hand-me-downs" and decided to buy my own in a size that fit me well. i went from a loose waist on size 36 into a extremely tight and short size 34. i'm 6'2" and couldn't believe how small they were compared to my 2006 size 36. i opted to ditch the freeride pant after i returned them. i never unzip the legs either. quality seemed nearly the same as my older ones which made me want to upgrade to the ride pant instead seeing how i would likely rip them again with the smaller fit.

Good product
Order a size larger than you usually wear, they come a little small. Good product, however, I am going to have to get smaller knee pads to feel full flexability in the knees.

Good pants bad sizing
these pants are very comfortable and very light weight in comparison to most riding pants on the market. only problem with them is they are a tight fit on the size you normally wear, with every clothing company i wear a 34 waist so naturally i ordered a 34, although with these pants (maybe all thor pants) the fit is much to tight and had to pay the money to cross ship for the 36 , so be aware, but all in all they are a great pair of riding pants and motosport.com helped out alot

Very nice product
I've used static gear for awhile now for rideing. I mostly ride sand, dunes and trails...the zip off legs are great here it gets pertty warm out and ver humid. They are pertty durable havnt had a problem. The size does seem to run a little tight. my normal waist is a 36, but the 40 and just cinching up the adjustable waist works best. The 38s fit but are pertty tight and it's tough to 'breathe'. I'de recomend them to anyone. But their sizes do run small.

How well do these pants stand up to burns?
How well do these pants stand up to burns when they are rubbing up against the pipe? Also how well do they fit around the boot?

They will hold up to the occasional rub against the pipe but the pants aren't designed to be flame resistant I guess you could say so if they are held up to something hot enough for a long enough time I'm sure the fabric will start to melt or break down. The fit around the boot is fine. There is plenty of room for a somewhat loose fit around the boot but not too baggy.

I can't answer the with standing burning question, but they fit great over riding boots and a little loose around the boot...which is perfect for me.
