Had To Have More Fuel

2013 Suzuki DRZ-400S It does what I bought it for. It gives me almost double the range between fill-ups and I can visually check the status of my fuel capacity at anytime. The fit was a little off. Once you remove the stock tank and bolt this one in there are a couple of problems. 1) The seat does not fit. I had to remove the aluminum tang from the tank and grind it down shorter to allow my stock seat to slide in place far enough to allow it to be bolted back in position. 2) With the tank installed, you can not pull the choke out on the carburetor to full choke. I can only get half choke or off position now unless I shave some of the knob off or replace it with another mechanism. Very cold morning starts are difficult now that I can not get full choke until I fix this. 3) Fuel petcock opening was too small. I had to ream the opening out a little bigger to slide my stock fuel petcock in and bolt it up. 4) I was surprised they did not include a vent line. Fifty cents worth of fuel line for a vent hose would have been more important to me out of the box than a sticker. Bottomline, I now can go much longer between fillups. The stock tank just did not give me the range I wanted and I was filling up every day, sometimes twice a day. Now I have two or three days between fillups or one LONG ride. Worth it if you can get past the above noted annoyances.

Best bang for the buck.

The Clark fuel tank looked good. It's color match the rest of my plastic really good. It fit well on the bike with no modifications or problems. The price was a lot better than buying an oem tank. No leaks or defects.

Great tank, awful gas cap!

I'm running a Clarke tank on a 2003 KX250 and so far its been a great buy. The only complaint I have is the gas cap! I was out riding a few weeks ago and for some reason started smelling raw fuel, to my surprise when I looked down at the tank it was drenched in fuel! Not a problem though had a plastic bag handy and used it as a makeshift gasket for the rest of the ride but still. Come on Clarke 225 bucks on a over sized tank and I get a leaking cap... This problem is well known enough for some gas cap makers to put "replacement for leaky Clarke cap" in there description. In the end good tank, but buy an aftermarket cap with it.

Tank for 99 YZ250

Extra capacity tank cost less than standard stock, fit was good enough, no leaks. Had tank on for a season now and can ride for hours without worrying about gas.

Clarke Gas Tank

After close coordination and waiting more than 3-weeks, the tank doesn't fit with the stock seat, 2002 WR-250F.

Big Tank

I got the 3.1 gal tank for myYZ 125 i have the stock size one industries seat on my bike. The tank is so much larger than the stock tank im going to have to buy a tall seat for it. It bends the stock seat up and wrinkles my seat cover other than that and some of my tank brackets not fitting properly all in all a good product, I would buy again

Fits like a glove

Bought this for my 2002 crf450r and I'm glad I did. The extra 1.2 gal makes rides much more enjoyable because I don't have to worry about running out (unlike my friends with stock tanks) Fits well, does widen the bike quite a bit, so I did have to get used to it in tight cornering, but still well worth it.

Unfortunately, The Clark Fuel Tank is not made to fit your 1990 Suzuki DR250S. From what I can tell we would only have the OEM fuel tank from Suzuki for your bike. You can find the OEM Fuel Tank for your DR250S here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/SUZUKI/1990/DR250S/FUEL-TANK-%28MODEL-L~M%29?sku=44100-15D50-30H
