Product Description

  • Keep your head in the race with the Factory Effex TC-4 seat cover with bump.
  • Factory Effex developed the TC-4 seat cover for today's four stroke machines and the brawny torque they produce by integrating a rear seat bump to keep you in the attack position.
  • The all new Dura-Grip seat material created by Factory Effex provides an intense adhesion that works with the embossed top seat ribs revealing seat position.
  • Factory Effex adds to your dirt bikes great style with the color matched rear seat panel and raised OEM logo. Interlock stitching gives a durable technique of keeping the TC-4 seat together.
  • The rear bump on the TC-4 is constructed out of Tri-density Soft-cell foam technology and includes 3-M adhesive for a quick and easy installation.

Looks good!

Need two people to install. Go to harbor freight to get staple gun, use air compressor. Takes T staples. Makes taking corners so much easier. Thanks so much!

My stock seat has grips on the sides which rub the inside of my leg and blisters it every time i ride. is the new seat smooth on the sides or rough?
m tired of putting duct tape on it

Any of the aftermarket seat covers are going to be made of a gripper type material which may not do any better than the stock seat cover in your situation. I suggest maybe using some knee guards and long socks to aid in preventing this from happening.

Smooth compared to stocker. Inside of seat is made of nylon mesh-like material. Only complaint would be it does not seem to be water resistant.

Can you buy just the bump?
I don't want the Rebal step, and I'm about to install a graphics kit with cover, so is it possible to just purchase the "bump?"

How do you install this? Does it come with the staples you need for intallation?
Expert MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
you will need to furnish the staple and staple gun for installation. check out these How To Videos: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/tv.php There's one on how to change your seat cover.

The best way i've found to install a seat cover is to let let it sit by a heater for an hour or two. This way it streches easier. Then strech it over the seat foam and use a staple gun(electric gun works the best) and go all the way around the edge of the cover....staple to the plastic shell.

it does not come with staples i bought ones at sears that were just about the same size..pull out the old staples put cover over front of the seat staple it pull it tight staple the back then staple the rest as you go making sure you have no wrinkles its a simple job
1 year ago
I used a YouTube video for instruction. Installation is fairly straight forward using a staple gun installing the bump and cover over top of your stock seat.

Would this seat cover work on a tall seat?
MotoSport Staff
Over 5 years ago Location: Portland, OR
It's going to be a tight squeeze but I'm sure you can make it work, the only thing I would be worried about would be the extra height with the bump built into the cover so you might need to shave the foam down on the seat where the step on the cover would sit.
