Product Description

The FMF Gnarly pipe focuses on increasing the lower RPM horsepower and torque to get you out of the toughest terrain. When looking to add 4-stroke tractor like torque to your 2-stroke and you need a pipe to withstand the harsh elements, this is the pipe for you.

  • All pipes are electro-nickel plated for a non-chip finish that will not discolor.
  • Nickel plating is an FMF trademark and has been 'copied' by everyone, making it the most imitated expansion chamber in the world.
  • Gnarly gives maximum low-end boost.
  • Super-strong 18-gauge steel construction makes it GNARLY!

Note: Pipe may include factory indentations for proper installation clearance.

Best Pipe Ever
I love this pipe I would recommend it to anybody it does what it says it does. It didn't hurt my jetting on my KTM which is even better. I have also rode with it in rocky sections and it hasn't dented.

Gnarly a great pipe!
I have had this pipe for 3 years. It has taken a beating from east coast rocks and other nasty stuff. Great low end power improvement over stock. Paired it with an FMF Q to keep my KDX 200 quiet. Simple jetting change was required to get the best power.

"As advertized"!
Just bolted this pipe up this afternoon,(along with the Turbine Core silencer) on my 99 RM 250. The pipe does EXACTLY what it's advertized to do! Before I hit 2nd gear, I could feel the difference! This year RM was a very "pipey" bike, with all the power on the top. There is no "hit" now, it just pulls from just off idle to the top...a big "rush". I would compare it to an old 70s/early 80s open class bike in power delivery. ( I'm showing my age, but that kind of power delivery is a good thing, to me!) GREAT PIPE for what I'm doing! (Desert/single track/trails/woods/fun) Much more fun bike to ride now!

Awesome pipe
Great additon to any bike. Spend an extra few bucks for the strength and sturdiness of the Gnarly. Installation is a breeze. Takes about 2 min. Make sure you buy a spring puller - again a few extra bucks saves you time and frustration. The best part is you keep it for life so don't be so dang cheap by improvising with other tools!

What's to say, it's a Gnarly
Been a Gnarly fan for years. Bought this one for my '98 KDX200. Great pipe, built like a tank and does exactly what it says it will for your low end. I ride/race tight North Carolina woods, and wouldn't ever consider using anything else. Thanks to Motosport for the great customer service and the price match.

INSANE LOW TO MID RANGE GAIN.
THIS WAS THE FIRST AFTERMARKET PIPE I INSTALLED ON MY KX 500, ALONG WITH THE POWER CORE SILENCER. THE PERFORMANCE GAIN WAS AWSOME. AT THAT TIME MY BIKE WAS OTHERWISE ALL STOCK BUT ALMOST UNCONTROLABLE AT BOTTOM TO MID RANGES WITH THIS SIMPLE UPGRADE. MUCH MORE INSANE THAN THE PRO CIRCUIT LINE OF PIPES. LOOKS BETTER TOO. NOTE TO KX500 RIDERS: IF YOU WANT AN INSANE MID TO TOP END PIPE, I RECOMMEND THE FMF GNARLY "DESERT PIPE" IT EXISTS. I HAVE ONE, AND IT IS AWSOME!!

Great pipe
this pipe is great. it was what my RM250 needed to get more low end power and making it easier to ride by smoothing the powerband.

Which would you recommend more the SST or the Gnarly for mmotocros?
MotoSport Staff
8 days 7 hours ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
The SST pipe is going to be a rev pipe. If you find that you ride the upper end of the RPM range more then go with it. If you tend to lug the bike and short shift, then the Gnarly is going to be the one you will want to go with. This is more of how you ride your bike, and what will work best for you specifically, rather than what is right or wrong for MX.

Will this pipe fit the Australian model RMX250 ???
MotoSport Staff
3 months 13 days ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
All of the parts we sell are intended for US Models. Checking with your local Suzuki dealer will give you an idea if both models share the same OEM exhaust. If this is the case, then our Gnarly Pipe will work great and fit just fine.

it does fit the 2010 200xcw. i dont show a listing for just the 200xw? but if you have the xcw 2010 then it will fit. just make sure to profile your bike and it will tell you if it fits or not.
