A good tire for varied conditions
I have run Dunlops almost exclusively for the last 12 years, with few exceptions. I ride a lot, and with 3 bikes I buy many tires every year. What I don't do is run them til they're bald, because to me traction is key. Living in the desert, the terrain I ride ranges from sand to rock and hard pack. It's hard to find a tire that performs well in these varied conditions, but the MX51 works really well and lasts as long or longer than anything I've found for the level of performance they offer. If good grip and predictable handling are a priority for you like it is for me, the MX51 should be at the top of the list.
