Factory Look with out the $
Easiest way to add the factory look with out the price tag. And color choices too.

Wouldn't seal
Did everything right and it leaked oil. Tightened the bolts to twice spec and it leaked oil. Got an OEM o-ring cover and haven't leaked a drop. Total waste of time and money in my case. On an RM250 BTW.

Spice!
The Clutch Cover looks so sick on the bike and it is stronger then the stock cover. it dose not scratch like the stock cover and is well worth the 90$ in my mind.!

Best thing to do in this situation is call your local shop or dealer and ask the mechanics if a '05 will fit on an '07.

What tools do i need to install myself?

Typically all you will need is a socket wrench. You may want to reference your service manual for more details.

Just depends on what bolts you have on your stock or current covers. You can use the same bolts. My clutch cover has 5/16 bolts holding it on and my ignition cover just had phillips head bolts. I bought a bolt kit incase I needed bolts for things like this but your stock bolts will work with these Boyesen covers. And then all you need is a wrench (5/16 or otherwise) or a phillips screwdriver.

This or stock?
they both cost about the same, which would be worth the money, this one or a stock one?

i would go with the boysen because it looks better and holds more oil in the clutch
Over 3 years ago Location: upper saddle river, nj
i think that this is a better deal because it stands out a lot more and looks better then the stock one. but they are both basically the same

I would go for the Boyeson over stock. They both have about the same durability, but the Boyeson cover looks so much better in both person and on the web.

1998 Suzuki RM250?
Does this cover the flywheel? Pic shows where I'm missing a cover?

no this is a clutch cover. if you need a flywheel cover you would need to get the Boyesen Ignition cover

You can get a cover for both sides of your engine. The clutch cover is a bit larger than the ignition cover but I have Boyesen covers on both sides of my engine and they work great and are cheaper than other brands.

Little window?
On my kx250f I have a window on the cover and that is how i tell how much oil to put in. Does this cover have a window for the one thats for an 07 kx250f?
