The Dunlop 50 Geomax MX51 Tire Combo includes one Front and one Rear Dunlop Geomax MX51 Tire with the following features:

Geomax MX51 helps deliver enhanced grip, added tread longevity and a wider range of terrain applications, reaching farther into hard-pack conditions.

  • Profile design provides more tread volume (greater land / sea ratio) in the shoulders for excellent cornering grip and a more open center-tread area for straight-line grip.
  • Recessed biting edges in shoulder tread blocks yield enhanced traction for greater grip in corners and ruts throughout a wide range of terrain conditions.
  • Tie-bar design connects and reinforces the tread blocks for greater tread stiffness, yielding improved intermediate-to-hard terrain performance.
  • Recessed design in the area between tread blocks gives the tire improved compliance for enhanced ride comfort.
  • Knobs are placed in a unique "cross-stitch" shoulder-block distribution for enhanced traction and grip in intermediate-to-hard riding conditions.
  • Larger-radius tread block base for strength and enhanced tread longevity.

Great mini tires

These tires are great. Mini tires are a little difficult to put on in general. I cant imagine putting these on with out a tire changing stand.

Great Tires

These tires are great! They offer excellent traction on any surface. I have these tires on my youngest boy's KTM 50sx, and on my oldest boy's KX 65. They race MX and Hare Scrambles, and these tires work great for both sports.

What tire combo would you recommend for a dirt bike that will be ridden in a wide variety of terrain?
The bike is a Yamaha TTR125LEV. Fnt Tire: 70/100-19, Rear Tire: 90/100-16. The rider is a 14 year old with moderate experience. Looking for a tire combo that will provide good traction on a wide range of terrain.

The Dunlop MX51 is a very good choice. Its a great intermediate terrain tire that works well on most terrain. Also the Pirelli Scorpion tire combo is a tire set that performs well in the same conditions . Either of these are great tires that will work well across a broad range of terrain and have a good lifespan.

Yes it can, you need to make sure that you confirm the tire size that you have on your bike and the manufacture's size of the tire for your bike.
