Great fit & finish
I bought this oversize tank for my CRF450R 2005. The extra 5 liters adds 70% to the stock tank yet fits neatly within the original shrouds without sitting too high like the Clarke or Acerbis tanks tend to. Better still, the tank has fitted seamlessly around my Mishimoto radiators, Devol radiator guards & Scotts steering damper without a hitch. I couldn't have asked for more.

Nice tank
i overall like this tank but it did say right in the directions that you will have to cut the shrouds a bit but otherwise nothing wrong just had a small issue with the pekock or how ever you spell it but it just didnt seal real well but were all good now and i gave the bike about 20 miles and didint even use half the tank.

Great oversized tank
I put this tank on my 06' CRF 450X. It was a piece of cake to install and all my plastics lined back up perfectly. The tank has a nice clean and beefy look to it once installed. It is awesome to have the extra fuel to make it through the longer loops. No more straping fuel to your waist for long rides.

Ok so far
The tank fit the bike perfectly, I am concerned that a litttle fuel leaked out of the neck when full. I don't know if the cap was screwed on tight or the threads leaked, I will keep an eye on it, gives way more range over stock 1.9 tank I give it 4 stars for now.

I had this same tank on the bike before. I had some how striped the threads on the cap with the custom aluminum cap ( i forget the name) So i bought another tank. You need this tank for those long fast rides. i have been with other riders who run out of gas its no fun. This tank gives you double riding time on my cr450r.

Yz 250 shrouds dont fit
06yz 250 shrouds dont fit,,,had to get a heat gun and torch a new set of shrouds to get them to come close to conforming ,, now they conform but my shrouds are deformed and wont fit stock tank any more, and the tank isnt like the one in the pic it does have the tall top, also stock yamaha gas cap wont work,, and yea i called ims and i have the rite tank yz 15,, also FYI you have to strip everything off stock tank...petcock & mounts, seat mount and rear screw,

yes, you will still be able to use your radiator braces with this tank.

If you're putting this on an '01 YZ250F you will not need to modify anything. All stock components will fit directly onto this tank.
