This enabled me to get my KTM street legal with a speedometer, but it also supplies RPM's, Miles, Temperature, etc. Very easy wiring and hookup once you figure out how you want to mount the display to your bike.
I honestly think this unit needs to be way better for the money... the mount broke first ride out and it was a small jump and it broke.. the RPM isnt that accurate even with the settings perfect. the speedometer isnt very responsive... i think it there could be a much better one.
needs to be higher quality
if u have a kx450f
i dont rechomend this
it is very cool but u could get something better for the money
perfect for a quad or dual sport bike or something of that sport but for motocross.... no
maybe trails im going to make my own mount that will be higher quality...

I got this for a Christmas present. It is a nice addition to keep track of your hours, engine temp, RPM's and such. I also got the stainless mount and new handlebars for Christmas. It looks good on my Honda TRX 700xx.
this little gizmo has all the bells and wistles rite at your finger tips. easy to see and use. the only issue i had was with the mounting hardware screws vibrating loose so use lots of locktight. a great product!
I would say your best option for finding specific replacement parts for your Vapor would be contacting Trail Tech directly.
Here is a Link to Trail Tech's contact info:
You should not need to upgrade your stator to hook this up on your 2000 Yamaha YZ426F. For more detailed information, manuals & instructions on this kit, I would recommend checking out Trail Tech's webpage for this item: http://www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/vapor/75-200
You should not need to change out your stator to power this Computer kit on your 1995 Honda CR125. For more detailed information, user manuals and installation instructions for this item I would recommend taking a look at Trail Techs webpage for this: http://www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/vapor/752-406
On a 2012 CRF450R does the Trail Tech Vapor computer utilize the factory water temperature and RPM sensors via the bikes ECM? if it even has them? Or does this kit come supplied with the neccesary sensors and adapters for my model? I'm primarily interested in having an accurate operating temperature readout. Thank you for your time and imput.
The kit for your 2012 CRF450R includes Water Temp Sensor 19mm, Magnet Sensor(Wheel pickup), Wheel Sensor Mounting Hardware, Power Lead, and Tachometer Lead and mounting instructions specific to your model.
This computer kit is available for your KFX450R. Due to this being model specific, please make sure to profile your ATV correctly when ordering, so you receive the correct item specific to your KFX450r.

Will this fit my quad?
i know it does not come in a specific kit for my quad, a 2001 kawasaki mojave 250. but could it still be installed? maybe even installed without the external power? because the external power is only for the background light and stuff correct? because if i could do that that would be fine because i only ride in the daylight anyway, or if it cold be installed with the headlights to the stator? please try your best to answer all of my questions without having me have to call there company, thanks
With these computer kits being model specific, it will make it tough to install on one that it is not designed for. You are correct in that it can run off of the internal battery, which has a lifespan of about 1 year. There will be mounting issues as each computer comes with mounting for a specific unit. For this application, since there is not one specific to your unit, i would call the guys over at Trail Tech. They can be reached at 360-687-4530 and they may be able to build a kit that will work for your Kawasaki Mojave.
This comes with a generic mounting kit and you may need to move some things around to get everything where you want it.
Trail tech also offers a whole new clamp set up that has a cut out for the computer and your indicator lights if you want to go that route.
