Clean looks upon install. One of the bolts I received was so deformed at the cap portion that it wouldn't fit into the recess of the plastic housing. I was able to find a replacement floating around in my toolbox. I am assuming it logs accurate time but I don't feel that the tachometer function is accurate at all. After every ride it shows the max RPM and it reads 19,999 every time. I know my CRF250R will rev but that sounds a little inflated.

Put an hour meter on your bike!
This is a great hour meter/tachometer combo. Installation if not hard but you will probably have to pull the tank off. Follow the instructions about how and where to wrap the wiring. (You wrap a wire around your spark plug wire.) When you crank the bike the meter will show your current RPM's. When you kill the bike it will show the highest RPM you had since the bike was last cranked. (This only displays for a few seconds.) Then, the hour meter will display. It's the only was to accurately track your maintenance.

Easy instal
I just got a 2013 and needed to keep track of hours. This product not only looks great it works just as great. I was a little worried about taking the bike apart! I watched the video on Motosport's website and felt I could do it. I was very easy to instal. I did contact customer service for questions and the guy I talked too was awesome. Spot-on Engine Monitoring
This thing was a breeze to install, and the bracket makes it easy to place directly in view. The mount bracket, however, does pose a problem with the 2010-13 YZ450F, because the fuel tank bolt is recessed too far down to allow clearance for the bracket. I had to buy a longer bolt and mount it onto one side of the air box cover with a spacer. The meter allows me to see RPM's while the engine is running and immediately tells me peak RPM when I shut it off, in addition to monitoring my run time.

Works great and looks awesome. All my friends want one now. I love how it mounts with the tank bolt. Best hour meter i've used so far. No issues after 10 hours and many power washes. Get it!
