got this spokes to replace the frozen solid stock ones. laced up with no problems. had to drill the rim a hair larger (.015) to accept the nipples. no big deal there. they look great, i like the spline drive nipples and they perform to my exspectations. i would recommend these spokes and nipples.

These spokes & nipples are top notch! They look trick & are much stronger than stock, my only complaint was on my paticular bike I had to drill out the front wheel in order to get the spline drive nipples to fit. But once they were in it was totally worth it.

They fit good
I like the spline drive. The little spline wrench that comes with them works better than the other spokes that use a regular wrench. They dont round off as easy as regular spokes when tightening and truing the rim.

Excel make great products. Note these will appear too long unless you install them correclty. Installed these spokes and Excel Rims on stock Honda Hubs. The instalation process is very specific: First lace the OUTSIDE holes on the brakes side of the hub, then rotate the hub but not the rim to take up the slack, then lace up the inside holes on the same side. Then turn the whole assembly over and again install the spokes in the OUTSIDE holes on the hub, then complete with the inside holes. You should now have a 3 cross pattern, not the stock 2 cross. This is only on the front, not on the rear. Call Excel if you get stuck, they will help!

the spokes pull out from the nipples. on the first ride back on the bike i tried jumping a 90 ft table top and landed short. then ten (10) of the spokes pulled out from the nipples and the day of riding was over. DO NOT BUY THIS SET. STICK WITH THE STOCK SET!!
