The Trail Tech Kickstand provides an easy and convenient way to stand your bike up where ever you are.
The sturdy design of the kickstand fits many dirt bikes that either come with a kickstand or motocross bikes that do not.
Trail Tech built their kickstand with components that were designed for bikes that are put through some of the gnarliest rides. The mounting bracket is constructed out of ultra-high strength chromoly steel. The sturdy mounting bracket paired with the high-strength forged aluminum stand allows for kick starting to be performed while on the bike. Yep, that's right Trail Tech guarantees the kickstand will hold the riders weight.
The black ceramic coating on the kickstand is extremely durable and resists scratching and chipping like painted kickstand.
An aluminum reinforced nylon base is more forgiving on rough terrain and eliminates producing sharp metal edges.

Suprising

At first glance I was a little skeptical, looks kinda cheap. The hardest part of install was the torx that Yamaha uses. I broke the Torx taking them out, and had to find new bolts. I put it on and did a long ride. I got back and noticed a wear mark. It is about an inch and a half long. The damage was already done, so I have kept running it. It has been about 3 years now. The plastic tip has not broken, actually kept the bike from falling over while I have started the bike in the mud on the stand. If I had it to do over again, I would have put washers in to prevent the wear mark on my swing arm. After all the use, and it still has not broke on me yet. I reccomend it, just do your homework on install.

This is a great kick stand, put it on my '02 YZ250F. I ride trail mainly and it helps alot when marking trail and opening gates. It held up my weight while starting the bike. Such a good stand I bought one for my '09 YZ250F also.

01 YZ250

I purchased one for my 01 YZ 250 and the other aftermarket swing arm type because too bent to use anymore. It installed quickly and looks good. It seems pretty weak and I wouldn't kick start the bike standing on it, but it is strong enough to hold the bike up. I have read the other reviews before purchasing it and one guy mentioned it rubbing on his swing arm. I have a small wear mark near the stand but I can't see how the stand did it. Its a good product, not a great product and is worth the price.

I have a 2011 kx450f and i put the kickstand on in about 7 minutes, fast and easy. I went trail riding and used it all day and it worked great. my brother is extremely jealous, so I well be getting him one for his birthday. So, I would say get it if u ride and not just look at your bike on the stand.

Great quality

I originally had a little trouble installing it because the holes didn't line up, but i think that was because the guy before me ate it and bent the bracket. I was eventually able to get it on. It looks AMAZING and insanely strong and performs exactly how it looks. Plus it comes back real high up so it is out of your way when riding and yet still easy to kick out. It has a good angle on it. A little more expensive than i really wanted to spend, but i am glad i did. It was worth every penny, well worth it!!!!

Great Product

This is the second one I have owned, first on 05 KX 250 and now on a KTM the stock stand was not good always picking up the bike after it fell over. With the Trail Tech have not picked it up once from it tipping over. Would definitely recommend it for any dirtbike.
