ASV F3 fully functional

The original clutch lever just made through the riding season but not without seeing its fair share scratches and bends. So my son continued to hound me that ASV levers were the way to go so it decided to get him the ASV F3 Clutch lever and perch set. Installation was a snap, highly adjustable for every riders style and grip. You can see the lever installed on my sons KAWI and it looks awesome on the bike. I would recommend ASV levers to everyone!

Looks nice

I bought this for my son for his birthday. He hasn't installed it yet. The perch came very quickly! I also really love the color! We will update this review if anything changed once it's installed.

Sensor?
does this model clutch lever have the hole for my sensor on it thanks

This is ASV's answer to your question listed in the FAQ section of asvinventions.com: All late model quads with electric start have a safety switch in the stock perch commonly called a "neutral kill switch" this makes it so that you have to pull the clutch lever in before the electric starter will work. This is a safety precaution to keep your bike from being inadvertantly started while in gear and casing the bike to move forward while the starter is turning over the engine. In order to run this lever/perch set up you will have to disconnect the wires and coil them up and zip tie them under your shroud. In some cases you may need to cut the wire and tie them together to complete the circuit, but we recommend just disconnecting first and trying the starter (MAKE SURE BIKE IS NOT IN GEAR) to make sure the starter works when not plugged in. Please be aware that by disconnecting your neutral kill switch your bike will now start anytime with the clutch in or out, bike in gear or in neutral.

Will this product fit the ssr 125?

ASV does not show any application for SSR pit bikes (http://asvinventions.com/Applications/Other.pdf) I would recommend getting in contact with ASV directly to see if they knew which lever set up would work best on your SSR 125. (http://asvinventions.com/Contact.html)

Does this allow for electric start sensors?
I have a ttr230, with electric start, will it trigger the sensor? If not will my sensor cables fit my secondary kill switch, making it trigger the sensor?

This does not allow for the clutch safety switch. You would be able to wire it to a secondary "kill type" button but there isn't a switch produced specifically for this application. You would need to wire it in and it would be a custom fitment.

I broke and bent my clutch lever on my yz250 05 Do I need to buy the perch ?? The oem perch will do the same things??
if your perch is bent i would go will the pro clutch from ASV it comes with everything you need.

If you only broke the lever you can get away with only purchasing a new lever, but if there is any damage to the perch I recommend replacing that as well.

Do i need a perch or does this fit on the stock perch? wut is a perch ?
MotoSport Staff
Over 5 years ago Location: Por+land
The perch is what holds the lever to your bars.. Normally this will only fit a CR style perch so depending on your bike it may or may not fit. I would contact one of our sales guys and let them know what bike you have and they should be able to assist you.
