IMS Super Stock Footpegs

I have these pegs on three of my bikes now, they all perform well, the extra width is vey nice both on the track and trail. They look nice, are very strong and fit with very little modification. Better than stock, and much cheaper than other aftemarket pegs that aren't any better. Good quality for the price.

I had my eye on these IMS pegs for a couple years for my trail bike. I finally bought a pair for a recent 10 day Utah desert riding trip and got in 1200 miles with the pegs. Here are my thoughts: 1) the front edge is in the same location forward as the stock pegs. 2) the surface is about 10mm taller than stock. 3) the back edge of the peg is up 10mm and back about 25mm farther than the stock pegs. 4) they extend about 15mm farther out than the stock pegs. Since they stick out farther I hit them a lot while climbing and descending steep, rocky (bigger than basket ball size) mining roads. Didn't stop me, but it was irritating. The taller pegs caused my center of gravity to be higher. Wasn't really noticeable, but higher CG is not good. I liked my weight being back farther while descending very steep trails and in track-stands to choose lines, trials bike style. Because they are higher and stick out farther, I occasionally smacked my shin while kick starting. That part sucks. I had a huge lump on my right tibia for several days. The skinny new shin plate on the Alpinestar Tech 8's have a soft spot right where my shin hits this peg - so very little protection from my boots. I made sure I sat back pretty far before kicking, which helped.

I put these pegs on my kids 125 and now I want a set on my 250F:)

I bought these for my KX500 and have no complaints. Great product at a good price. I'd buy these for my next bike too.

I am surprised at how good they are, they don't cost much, and are much better than stock.

I had to sand/grind them down a little to fit correctly but other then that they are nice wide pegs and an improvement from stock

A good replacement at less than half the cost of the OEM pegs if you break the OEM peg. I wanted something that would not tear up my boots, these have an almost identical pattern to the OEM pegs. Required some sanding to thin the coating so they would fit and swivel smoothly. That's the only reason they are 4 star instead of 5. Functionally the same as the original pegs, probably even more durable. Yes, they weigh more than the stock titanium pegs but no rider will notice. The only people who might notice don't shop, they just show up and ride the factory bike.

I put these on my drz400, great upgrade, could not ask for anything better.
