FMF Powercore 4 Complete Exhaust - 4-Stroke - Main

Product Description

  • Decades of racing development went into the design of the FMF Powercore 4 complete exhaust to improve the power and performance of your dirt bike or ATV at a practical price.
  • The FMF Powercore 4 exhaust is a muffler that will boost power and torque throughout the power range, making the Powercore 4 exhaust usable for all types of riding.
  • FMF designed a Hi-Flo end cap and core for the Powercore 4 exhaust system to increase power by creating a free flowing end cap and a core that allows room for exhaust pulse. This results in a consistent power curve.
  • The FMF Powercore 4 exhaust system uses and advanced cross-weave packing that is more durable then the traditional packing. The cross-weave packing also keeps the Powercore 4 at a reasonable sound level by dissipating the exhaust sound.
  • FMF constructed the Powercore 4 muffler using aluminum to keep the weight down with a stainless steel head pipe and components for extended exhaust system durability.

Great exhaust
I have a honda 300 trx. I installed this pipe on it and was impressed with the ease of installation, and it sounds great. It does stick out a little further than my old one but i just extened my grab bar 3 in to protect it. I jetted the bike and the combo really woke it up. Im verry pleased with the performance.cant beat the price.

I installed the PowerCore4 on my friends 03' TT-R90 and it defiantly increased the over rev and torque of the motor! It sounds amazing over the stock pipe. I for sure recommend this pipe for any 4 stroke! You can definitely tell a power enhance on the smaller bikes. Avery348

WAAAAA!
This almost doubled the power on my crf100f. Rejeting it after installation was a pain. When i was installing it the nuts that where on my bike they got striped but that was my own fault. MAKE sure you rejet it or you will blow your motor. overall really good product.

Best purchase
This pipe is the best. I installed it on my 2003 TT-R 125 and it makes that thing move. You will gain alot of power, more speed and a greater sound almost like a 450f.

Awesome Exhaust.
I got it for my 2007 Yamaha TTR-125L and it made a huge differance. I got more power from low to mid, its much louder and sounds great, and im also really glad that i bought it when i did -i little over 2 months ago- because it was a lot cheaper, i only paided $145, when now the cheapest on here is $161-$179, for the 07' TTR-125. but still i would recommend this to any of my friends. It is definitely the first thing i would recommend doing to any TTR-125.

Rejetting carb?
If i live in massachusettes, could i just put the exhaust on or Would i have to re-jet the carb or just leave it? If its re-jetting, How much bigger of jets should i use? 2000 honda xr50r

If you leave the stock air filter on you should be okay to run this exhaust with out re-jetting for your 2000 XR50. Location does play a huge part in jetting and if the bike is already on the lean side, you may have to go up one or two sizes on the main jet. It may also be possible to richen it up enough with the air screw by turning it in a quarter to half a turn from stock. If you plan to run an aftermarket pod filter this would absolutely require re-jetting.

Can you hook this up to an xr50r and be fine, without modifing anything else?

Depending where you are located, sometimes you can get away with just installing it, but a lot of times you will need to re-jet the carburetor. Jetting will vary slightly depending on your location. It will also vary if you are planning to use the stock air filter or if you are running a pod type air filter.

Is this pipe USFS approved?
MotoSport Staff

On the bigger bikes the Powercore 4 will come with a spark arrestor insert but the smaller CC models will not come with an insert but one might be offered. As a general statement 200cc and up will come with a insert. So, the models that have an insert coming with the exhaust are in fact USFS approved.

This is a complete system. Although it might not come in three pieces, it is a full system.

How do you attach the head pipe to a honda 300ex?
MotoSport Staff Expert

Unfortunately motosport can not give you directions on how to work your quad, due to legal reasons. I'd suggest either looking on FMF website's technical articles or purchase a service manual.

What is jetting?
I have a 2003 xr 100 r and I was wondering what it meant when someone asks (does it come with new jets?)
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 3 years ago Location: USA
Jets are what squirt fuel into the carburetor, which combines it with air.

Does the header that comes with this fit only minis?
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
Yes, this exhaust system is for minis so the header will only fit the bike that the exhaust is purchased for.

Does this only fit mini moto bike or will it fit a normal xr 100r?
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 3 years ago Location: USA
These exhaust are designed to fit specific make/model/year bikes/ATV's. If you enter in your bikes information, you can see if this pipe will fit.
