Great Product. For the kx450f this is a must. the stock slider wears within several rides. The TM slider will last forever compared to the oem. It seems expensive but definitely worth it. If you go the OEM route expect to buy several and keep replacing them. Save yourself the time and go TM designs.

Good but not Indestructible
I justified the price because I thought they were guaranteed for life. There is a "one year Pro Rated wear warranty" because "Kawasaki engine countershaft and swingarm pivot do not line up the chain literally cut through the buffer at a downward angle like a knife". In their third grade English they go on to say "no chain slider can overcome a bad mechanical design. Because of this we can only support a pro-rate setup". They also recommend 1.125 inches of chain slack instead of the 2.0-2.5 inches the KX450F manual says. I have used my slider for about 10 hours of track riding and I can already see it wearing but not at the rate the stock one did. It is a good product but won't last forever. Also, it is super easy to install. All I had to do was take off the countersprocket and bam done.

Best guide ive ever had!
I must admit I’m very impressed... but I’d better be for the money these cost. I do have a complaint in the fitment though, I own 2 bikes and neither line up properly with the chain on the back end. It really doesn’t matter, but for that money I want perfect! They've held up great to 250 miles though, the only wear being on the edge where they don’t line up right. I’d buy them again...

2002 yz250f what a pain
No doubt a sterdy part but in the picture it shows that it would just slide on with maybe removing the front sprocket. For my 2002 yz250f the part had a plastic bar that ran from top to bottom verticaly. This cused me to have to pull the front sprocket, the shock from the linkage, the bolt that holds the linkage to the frame, and then the swing arm bolt so I could pull the swingarm out far enough to slide it on. Is a good part maybe easier on some models but for mine, what a pain.

Longer wear
I reciently purchased the chain slider unsure of how well it would work, not very happy with the price but gave it a shot anyways. I love the chain slider eccept one thing about it, it makes a lot more noise than the stocker, because of the harder plastic material it is made from, even when you run your chain really tight like they tell you to. All for all I think it's worth the money if you can put up with a little noise it makes, thats why I only rated it at 4stars, definately worth the cash.
