Product Description

Contains everything you need to upgrade your worn out clutch plates and springs. Each kit comes with new frictions, steels, and clutch springs, all made from premium grade materials. The frictions and steels are made to exact OEM tolerances and specifications, and produce the same feel and wear resistance of OEM plates. Wiseco clutch springs are 8-10% stiffer than stock to ensure a positive clutch lockup every time. Clutch pack kits are an easy solution to worn or slipping clutch packs.

Quality clutch

this replaces the same wiseco kit that has been in my YZ250 for the past three years. if this one holds up as well as the last one then money well spent.

Great clutch great price

Does the job. Some of the other reviews for all the clutches bother me. Clutches don't come with instructions, because you should have the manual for your bike. Clutch manufacturers cant include instructions for every application. If you don't have it, buy the book. If your clutch burned out prematurely you probably installed it wrong. Yeah you need the book. If you didn't pre soak the disks in transmission fluid you probably burned the new discs on your first ride. Yeah you should of bought the book. If the hub or pressure plate broke after you installed new discs you didn't put it back together right. Yeah you know, should of bought the book.

Great clutch for the money

i recently had to replace the entire clutch assembly in my yfz450. inner hub, basket, fibers, steels, springs. its a pretty strait forward installation. the price is great for what you get. the springs are defiantly stiffer which is a good thing. not too stiff but you can tell the difference. as far as durability, i cant comment yet. i only have about 3 hours on this clutch so far.

Good clutch that gets no mercy.

I bought this clutch for my ktm 125sx. I ride tracks almost exclusively. I have put over 10hrs on this clutch so far. Its been through multiple starting practices, abused on wet and heavy tracks to keep the rpm's up, and just the general beating any 125 clutch goes through. So far it shows no signs of giving up.

If i just buy the new basket could i use my stock setup pressure hub etc ?? or do i need all new weisco items to make the basket work i have a 2001 yz?
I would rather keep all my old stuff just get a new basket

Aftermarket pressure hubs, clutch baskets, fibers, and steels all seem to be pretty universal with as far as oem goes. I installed hinson fibers and steels with a hinson basket with oem pressure hub and hinson springs and everything works great. Best information i have for you and probably the best thing to do is to contact a certified dealer and get the spec's on your rig before going frankin atv on it. Good luck.

You can still use your oem parts. The wiesco pressure plate, basket, springs, etc are all designed to mix with oem.

Wiseco designs there hubs and plates to the same specs as OEM so the parts are interchangeable. You shouldn't have any problem running your OEM clutch pack with a Wiseco Basket.
