It's not what's on the picture it's only a plastic black slider it doesn't seem strong versus the aluminum.

No good
I bought it for an rm 250- it just came with a plastic slider, no aluminum like in the pic it shows, and it already wore through

Great Investment
I Recently replaced my stock unit with one of TM Design Works chain guide. I gotta say its worth its weight in gold. I do alot of tight trails and single track trails and its taken a fair amount of direct hits without phasing it. I recommend this to anyone looking for a much better upgrade from stock.

For a yz will it come in white?
it comes with the white shell and not the rubber inside right?

TM only offers black or blue for the yz's, the ones we stock will be black with no rubber insert.
Riprocken Over 4 years ago Location: PA
The page only shows it in white. Do you not have the Black available?

Depending on what kind bike you're putting it on would determine whether or not a black one is available.

Is this thing ready to bolt on?
It says it is a shell, does that mean I still need to buy the actual guide for it, or is it completely ready to go? And what color is it for a Suzuki RM250?

You will need to have the stock chain block (the plastic insert) in conjunction with this shell to complete the install. This is just the chain guide shell.

What material is this made with. It looks plastic?
MotoSport Staff Expert

these are constructed using some type of polycarbonate that resists wear. These actually work really well and don't wear-out like typical chain guides.
