Bolts right up easy to install. The shorty does move the power a bit down lower that was nice. I know they say that's what it does, I just didn't think it would have been as noticeable. Good product!

I basicly got this pipe because of the reviews. Everybody said it broadens the powerband. I have an RM125 and I love riding it track and trails. I wanted a little more low end. This pipe gave me just what I was looking for. It gave me a little more low end but it didn't seem to loose any power on the top end. The bike is still spunky, which I love but it now seems a little easier to handle in tight spaces. I would definitely recommend trying out the pipe.

Make your two stroke sing!!!
I have the FMF Shorty on both my 05' CR125 and 07' CR250. Both exhausts do the same function. The shorty improves low end snap and makes the bike pull a little bit better from bottom to mid. On the 125 it helped make the bike more snappy and on the 250 it made the bike pull better off the bottom require less clutch work out of corners. The fit and bolt on was spot on with no tweaking or machining required. Repacking is a sinch with no trouble. Also the shorty makes your bike sing and gives it that factory bark. Really good silencer for your motocross bike.

I don't really have anything bad to say. The pipe fit on great, looks great, sounds great, and had a little noticeable Power increance. I've bought fmf silencers before and have always loved them!

My bike really roars right now. I have a stock pipe on my bike so it took a little time to put it on but no big deal. One thing that I noticed was an increase in low end and just a little off the top but not that big of a deal for me. This silencer rocks!

Must have!!!
I purchased this product to gain more power in my bottom end and to have a much more crisp sound. This silencer well exceeded my expectation well beyond belief. i gained alot more power overall. i would buy this product again in the feature it is a must have for all you 2 stroke lovers.

What modifications will i have to do to get this to fit on a 1994 yz250?

Unfortunately FMF does not offer this Powercore 2 Shorty silencer for your 1994 YZ250. They do offer their standard Powercore 2 though. All you will need to do is transfer your rubber grommets from the stock exhaust and it will be a direct bolt-on.
