Best rim so far
I bouhgt this rim on Jan, because the original rim crack on the welded area, this rim is light and tough, it held a lot of abuse so far w/out any sign of break up.

actually i didnt buy this rim, it came on my xr400 when i bought from another guy(he cracked the original), he had a couple hundred miles on it and it looked brand new still. in the last six months i have put close to 300 miles on it and it still looks new. i have hit several large objects in the trail (football sized rocks and some good sized limbs) not one bend. i am about to buy one for the rear because i am so amazed by it, truly amazing and worth the money.

Do i have to buy the spokes with a 2004 Yz 125?
My yz 125 has the stock excel wheels already on it and i bent the rim so do i still have to buy the spokes even though i have a excel rim on it

This Excel rim is a different series from the stock OEM. You will have to purchase the matching Excel Spokes to have the correct angle and spoke length. OEM spokes will not work.

Looking for help with a Husqvarna 1995?
Husky came factory with Excel Rims and husky hubs on my 1995 Cr250. Will the Excel spokes fit any hub? I want to purcahse everything together and I need a 18" rim and spokes and a 21" rim and spokes. I know you don't have any info showing for Husky but figured I'd ask. Thanks, Dan

Dan, If you're saying the wheels on your Husky fit a 95 Cr250, than purchase the rims and spokes to fit that make/model/year. Rim must be used in conjunction with the Excel Spoke Kit on the following applications: * All Honda's- All Years * All Yamaha's - All Years * KDX200/220 - All Years * KLX250/300/650 - All Years * KLX400R/SR - All Years * RM125/250 - All Years * RMZ450 - All Years * DRZ400E/S - All years It is okay to use OEM spokes and all other aftermarket spoke kits with the following applications: * KX125/250/500 - All Years * KXF250 - All Years * RMZ250 - All years * All KTM's - All years

Yes you do need Excel spokes to run Excel rims. So as long as you go with a 21in spoke set through Excel they will fit. If you haven't laced a rim up before I would recommend having someone do it for you. Main thing is just try and lace it back up the way you dissembled it.
