Best two stroke pipe
I have the FMF Fatty and powercore 2 silencer on my 1999 yz 125 and it is definetly the best pipe yet. I used to have a pro circuit but it would dent so easily and eventually it got so dented i couldn't use it. I switched to the FMF Fatty and the bike had noticeably more power and sounded a lot better to. Also the fmf pipe is incredibly strong. My Fatty has one small dent and i have hit it much harder than my procircuit. FMF is definatly the best.

Kx 85
I bought a fmf fatty for my kids kx 85 it hung 3 inches below the frame his second ride he came up short on a double and it completely folded under the frame $224 kissed good bye. i have used fmf on all my bikes but dont recomend it on the kx 85 major flaw

FMF is the Best!
This is probably my 4th FMF pipe to own from 80cc bikes to 250cc. You cannot beat the quality that FMF puts into everything they build right here in the great USA! They have the best looking and most durable finish, plus you get that great deeper tone when finished off with a FMF Silencer. FMF does a great job on smoothing out the power band giving it a better linear range. I highly this product.

Wow!!!! This is the best money I have ever spent!!!! The fatty totally transformed my yz250. I cant keep the front tire on the ground!! Way more power than i had with my stock pipe I would recommend this pipe for anybody who wants to unleash the true demon in their 2 stroke.

Will this fit a 09 rm85?
what are the steps of putting it on well what do i hve to do after i put it on ? (i heard somthing about rejetting)

All you do is unbolt your stock pipe and put this back on the way you took your stock one off. Most likely you will need to have your carb re-jetted as well and depending on where you are located and what mods you have done to your bike, normally the best place to get recommendations on jetting is at your local shop.

Switching from a gnarly to a fatty on a yz250 will i have to rejet?
ive heard that the gnarly and the fatty are the same and ive heard that theyre different so i wanted a straight answer. i had the jetting spec sheet from fmf for my bike that came with the gnarly but i cant find it but i recall the jetting being the same but im not 100%

Is this pipe a bottom end or top end pipe?
there are many reviews on this pipe, some saying that it increases the bottom end, and some saying that it decreases the bottom end and makes you'r bike a screamer. I am looking for bottom end, for enduro riding, is this pipe the one? (for a suzuki rm 125)

this will be the closet you'll find to get any improvements on the bottom end. Since FMF has discontinued the Gnarly pipe, they don't leave off-roader's many options. Your best bet is to look into a heavier fly wheel for a good low end improvement. Makes it great for trail riding and keeps the motor from stalling at low revs.

How to re jet?
i got this and the powercore2 on my ktm 125. since i put this on my bike it doesnt have a powerband at all. what jet size should i use or is it not the jet? i live in new york fairly close to sea level and mild humidity.

Any time you change the amount of airflow in or out of the engine you will have to make sure it is jetted right. You will likely have to increase the size of your main jets if you install this pipe.

Does an fmf fatty exhaust come with factory "dents" or indentations towards the silencer?
i bought a fatty exhaust for a 02 cr125 and it came with a dent towards the silencer, i was unsure if it was factory to go around the motor or was it an actual dent

no its supose to be there they'll usually put some dents on the side near the motor to make it fit easyer

Trail Rider?
I almost exclusively ride trails (rocks, roots, hills and trees) I would rather have more low-end torque then an "even power band" So should I think about getting an FMF Gnarley instead of this FMF Fatty? I have an FMF Fatty right now but it just bit the dust.

FMF page lists a 06 KX80 reject specs for the Fatty but does not list an 07 KX100 specs...any reason?

Jetting will more than likely be necessary. If you log onto FMF website you might find some jetting specs for your bike.

These pipes will rust if exposed to water/moisture. The best solution to keeping the pipe from rusting is WD40 and a scotch brite pad.
