Starcross
tires hooked up well and installation was fairly easy. They dont last as long as i'd expect for a set that's $140+ though. still a great product.

Great Purchase
My son is the racer. He is 14 and really halls butt around the track. I need tires I count on keeping him upright. These tires were a super purchase. The tires hook up like no others I have ever had. They look tough and perform tough. These are the ones I will stay with. Motosport service and products are in front for the hole shot!

Good Tires
Tires look and ride good, hook up really well, but do not last very long at all. Would assume the tires are good for truly soft terrain.

Good traction in soft terrain. Very stable. Seem to wear pretty well, too. I will buy these again.

MotoSport = SATISFACTION!
I ordered these tires in a tire combo pack and ordered a quantity of 2. I cant even explain how fast they were at my door, and for FREE! The 3 day shipping option had these tires on my doorstep ready for a race in less than a week! The price on the tire combo was amazing as well! Free shipping along with a low price was the best deal i could find. The tires themselves were perfect out of the box, and still on my bike now! I havent had to use the 2nd pair yet because they are that durable! I even rode Red Bud the other day and still had great tread upon leaving!

Best Tires for Harescramble
These tires are the best for off-road racing and the price is great. They last much longer and get great traction. These are the only tires my son will race with.

What type of tire woulyou recommend for beginner mx rider?
MotoSport Staff
2 months 12 days ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
Tires suggestions actually would depend more on the terrain you are riding. Most tire manufacturers make Soft, Intermediate and Hard Terrain tires to best fit the customer's needs. If you are unsure on what style terrain you ride the most, it would be beneficial run an intermediate tire. If you need any help picking some out feel free to give us a call and we'd be happy to get you set up. 1-888-676-8853.

What type of this tire do i want if i plan on doing indoor sx this winter?

Your gonna want the MH3 or H12. SX is usually hard packed slick terrain. Stay away from the sand/mud type tires. You need lots of knobbies that are closely spaced for lots of traction.

What does the XC mean, like the difference b/t a s12 and a s12 XC?

This is what the Michelin website says about the new XC series: Every aspect of MICHELIN® XC-series has been designed to maximize traction. * Reformulated rubber mixture improves durability by at least 25%, compared with previous MICHELIN® tires * Improved grip compared with previous MICHELIN® tires, thanks to new rear tread compound and changes in casing design * Redesigned tire structure incorporates an additional casing ply under the tread, which helps improve flexibility of the tread area. This in turn improves feedback, traction and warm-up time. * Thicker sidewalls in the bead area help increase lateral rigidity, further improving feedback and performance. * Proven, championship-winning tread designs remain unchanged from original M12™ tires * Aggressive shoulder knob design promotes cornering stability * Soft- to intermediate-condition tire for motocross or offroad * Tall, narrow knobs for mud penetration * Front knobs turned 45° for mud evacuation.
