Always a product I can trust. Sunstar builds great quality sprockets. I have run them for 7 years racing xc on an ATV and never one failure from them. Now I am trying bikes so of course I'm sticking with the products that worked for me.
I bought this for my CRF230F to get a bit more higher gearing. You won't see a big difference, but a difference is there. I don't think I can go any larger. Instead if you want even higher gearing, drop a few teeth in the back along with this sprocket.
I needed a super small 12 tooth front sprocket for my CRF250 for Endurocross and there were very few choices. Luckily Sunstar still makes one on this size and it seems to be of average durability. My only gripe is they do not etch the sprocket tooth size visible to the outside so I can't see what sprocket size is on without counting teeth. Minor gripe though!

I'm looking to re-gear my 2001 honda xr200r with out having to change chain size?
I would like to re-gear my bike so it has faster acceleration, with out having to change my stock chain. I currently ordered a FMF exhaust from your website and would like to get it off the line just a little quicker. So what would be the ideal gearing for the front and rear sprocket to give me faster acceleration with out having to change the stock chain.
I would start with dropping one tooth off of the front sprocket from what you currently have. This is the cheapest method and will make a noticeable difference and will not require you to purchase a new chain.
