Product Description

  • Each kit contains everything you need to complete your rebuild the right way, the first time- crankshaft and connecting rod, all applicable bearings, and complete bottom end gasket kit made to meet or exceed OEM.
  • Wiseco connecting rods are double forged from a dedicated forging and feature shot peening, oil slots, and coated bronze thrust washers.

Great crank kit

2007 CRF 150R. Wiseco did there homework on this kit. It had everything you need to change the crank - the top end kit. Went in easy and fast. I haven't ran it much to know how long it will hold up but so far so good. It is holding up to my son's racing.

Great bottom end kit!

I recently blew my bottom end on my crf 250 and i am only 16 and dont have alot of money. I bought this kit because it was a full rebuild kit and it was cheaper than others. I am very pleased with the performance and power of it i cant keep the front end down with this. I also had never rebuilt a bottom end ever so this was my first time and it was one of the easiest things to do.

Buyer beware

I had this crank installed in my sons CR 125. After .09 hrs of run time the rod bearing on the crank went bad. Wiseco refunded purchase price after a month, but did nothing to help with the cost of installation. In the future I will spend the little extra and go with OEM.

the crank kit installed easily, and performs as expected, but i feel they should include a base and head gasket set, because those are off to get to the crank, right?

Can I order a crank kit with a different size rod to increase power (changing the stroke)? and do I have to bore the head and increase the piston size?

These Cranks would only be available build to the OEM specifications. We do not have an option for different length rods on the Wiseco Crank.

The Wiseco Crank is actually only available in with the complete crank kit. We also offer the Hot Rods Crank Shaft with out the bearings, seals and gaskets. http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/Hot-Rods-Complete-Crank-Assembly

Hi, Will that kit (complete crank kit) fit my bike? (EXC125) if not, do you have a kit for that model?
MotoSport Staff

Unfortunately the aftermarket companies ( Hot Rods and Wiseco ) are not offering a replacement crankshaft for the 2008 KTM 125 EXC. You can either have you stock crank rebuilt with an aftermarket rod kit or you can purchase a new OEM crank from KTM.

Will it fit 400 fa?
sorry i do not know difference 400 fa or 400ex
MotoSport Staff
Over 6 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
Those two models are completely different. The TRX400FA is the Rancher Utility quad with cargo racks and 4wd. The TRX400EX is the 400 Sporttrax sport quad. The Wiseco crank kit will fit the TRX400EX, but will not fit the TRX400FA.
