Best Tire EVER!!!!!!
This is hands down the best tire out there. 120/80/r19 is the way to go on the mx-51. If you are running a different tire you are missing out son!!!

GREAT TIRE
Very impressed with the way this tire is holding up. I ride mostly tracks with all types of soils and the MX51 works well in all. Great overall tire

Great tyre for a 500
Put this on my KX500 for the weekend. Figured I would get 2 days worth of riding out of it. Well, its been 2 days and it still has around 60 percent tread on it. No knobs are ripped off of it at all, just some small chunks taken out. Haven't seen a tyre that could take the abuse like this one. Saw another guy on a CR500 with the same tire in the same condition. No complaints there. Seems to hook up okay, maybe a little better than the old 756, but there is alot of spin in those 5th gear runs, and it breaks loose on the road more often than other tyres I have tried. Tends to slip in the corners on hard pack surfaces too. I ride in the coal region of pennsylvania, known for its massive coal hills. Ive gone through new tires in one weekend without even trying, but I've been abusing the heck out of this one and it just takes it. All in all, I'd buy this tyre again for trail riding and climbing, but pass on it for racing.

Best tire for money
My son offroad races in 250A class. His tire of choice is MX51 in rear and MX31 on front. The tires hold up better than any tire we have ever run

Not as good as i heard
I race vet 30 novice, I came off of a bridgestone 404, went to this tire because i heard it was AMAZING! well..... I had a different experience. mainly ride pala raceway, starwest, perris, and milestone, all have different dirt, I cant seem to find traction at any of the tracks with this tire, even when it was new, got about 5 rides out of it, which was about 2 weeks :( ouch, anyway, i would push you to the bridgestone 404, or the dunlop 952 for a comparable tire, but better traction than this one. I have an 08 crf 450

AMAZING
This tire is the God of all tires. I've ridden starcross's, bridgestone m series, pirelli's and even the terrible shinko's. This is the best intermediate tire HANDS DOWN. The only one that can almost compare is the pirelli, but they're even more expensive. Tires are like gear, you like a brand and you're loyal. I try everything to see what works best and I am definitely putting the MX51 on all my bikes from now on. It bites so hard, no cracking after 7 months, barely rounded after 5 rides, installation was a down fall and durability was eh. It held up good after the first. After that, it started to round, at the 5th ride, it was the same. Didn't maintain the consistent edge but it hasn't rounded much either. Great tire though, improved handling like you wouldn't believe. Going on all my bikes when they need a new rear

Good while it lasted...
Traction on this tire was better than most. But you need to have deep pockets because not only is it one of the more expensive tires but they don't last long. I had no problems with the knobs breaking but the sidewall came apart. I had NEVER run it flat yet the steel belts came out of the sidewall and wore a hole in the tube. Had to put a new tube in to finish my weekend and needed a new tube with the new tire. Although I was previously a Dunlop fan I'm not a fan of the Geomax, next tire is a Maxxis.
