Maxxis SI Front tire

Had installed at a local shop. Took out a couple of rides and have nothing bad or great to say. Holds air and grips the rocks, dirt, sand, and mud like any other front tire. NO unusual or accelerated wear. 03CRF450R

Sweet tire, it has awesome traction. It hasn't wash out on me once yet in any race or trail ride. Has no wear on it at all and will hold well on any type of terrain from loose dirt to clay and wet rocks in streams. Recommend to anyone.

Great tire for michigan sand

Ridden over 100 miles of sand only on these tires they preform better than Michelin S12 but wear much faster. I ridden at silver lake and Baldwin trails only. The only time these tires have touched anything other than sand is to cross the road. I believe I will get about 300 miles out of these tires unless something changes. Last set of S12 lasted over 750 miles.

Predictable

I love this tire. I use it for racing cross country and harescrambles and I use it with the tubliss system. It works amazing. I have found tires that grip going into corners better on certain types of dirt, but this tire is very well rounded and works exceptionally well from rocks to sand. My favorite aspect of the tire is it's predictability, it will slide out occasionally but its never unexpected. I also like the strong sidewalls that don't roll around as much as some other front tires. I was very bummed at the last race when a rock cut the tire and it went flat. . . . but i love this tire so I just had to order a new one.

Great tire!

If you want a great reliable tire that hooks up in just about all conditions...this is the last tire you will buy! I ride in hard pack to sugar sand here and florida and this tire hooks up everywhere. I'm not sure if this other reviewer was riding on ice or what but this is a great tire!

Hang on!!!

If you like to feel like you're washing out all the time then this is the tire for you! I put the maxcross in the front and the desert IT on the rear. The rear hooks up awesome..love it ,but the front is scary at any speed.
