Great tire!
i race in the northeast and use this tire on all kinds of terrain from sand to moist loam to hard rocky dirt to hard pack supercross. I've read some of the other reviews and i've had nothing but good luck with these tires! i've never chunked off a knob and they always wear even. they're a little softer compound so they are easy to install even if your not a good tire changer.

Great performance, knobs chunk
I love the way this tire grips the corners! I've tried a lot of other tires, and this beats them all. Only issue is the knobs will crack off used a lot on hardpack.

Not so good
I wanted to try the Bridegstone 404 after being a long time Dunlop user and the Bridgestone did not hold up to the task. My rear tire started to loose there knobies after 2 motos. This is not desert riding, it is at local tracks. Trackion is good but they seem to loose their edge after a couple of motos. I know 450s chew things up but I was hoping for a little more for the money.

Great Tire!!!
After running S12's for years I finally broke down and stepped outside the box with a set of Bridgestones. The M404 is a rather nice tire, I have put roughly 10 hours of ride time on a groomed motocross track, 1 hour on a 100% blue grooved track, and a few practice sessions at my private track that is hard packed as well and these tires have yet to lose their edge. They hook rather well in mud, and dont spin a lot on hard packed. Im a 25+ A rider on a yz450f, and I approve of this tire!!!
