MX71 rear tire 8(
I bought a mx71 rear tire for my 02cr250r to replace my maxis desert it and it wore down extremely fast compared to the desert it. I ride rocky trails and washes. The tire did well at first but once the signs on wear started to show it snowballed fast. I bought the $50 Artrax this time and will review it after its dead.

Dunlop tires
I like the 51 on the rear and the 31 of front for soft to intermediate. I aslo run the 110 on the rear of my 450 as it corners better than the 120. The tires wear well if you use them for the track conditions they were designed for. Use a good gauge and run the correct pressure. More is not better! 11-14 PSI depending on track conditions.

Grip for days
I switched from the Bridgestone 403/404 combo to the MX51 combo and the Dunlops just have more grip everywhere, period. While the Bridgestone is a good tire, these give me more grip on my '08 YZF450 especially while leaned over and on the gas. I only gave a 4 for durability because it is the medium compound and doesn't last as long as the MX71 but for a medium tire the last for my track and desert riding is superior. A 4 for ease of install because, well, it's tires and bloody knuckles are the norm, lol. You'll feel like you can't do any wrong with the grip, particularly when new!

If you pull the tires up individually they all have descriptions. We condense the information of the tires to what type of terrain best fits the it when your ordering a combo.

Well, it sounds like you'd be best off with a D773 rear (great in the sand and mud).
