D.I.D beefed up the ERT2 chain by increasing the pin size by 3% to give the chain an average tensile strength of 8,100 pounds. Increasing the strength of the ERT2 chain did not come with a sacrifice of weight, in fact DID was able to shed 5% from the previous ERT chain.

Man and Machine
I bought the the DID ERT2 Gold chain for my 2015 WR250R. The gold chain looks super cool up against the blue of the bike. The chain is performing well. Minimal stretch and easy to maintain. I don't second guess my decisions, i just purchase DID every time.
Very strong chain that looks awsome. An will last me a whole motocross season .I only use wd40 on my chain .
Had to cut a few links out but was pretty easy to install only rode once with it on seems like it's gonna last this season

If you don't already know these chains are the real deal, good price for what you get, which is uncommon this day n age. It looks so sexy on a darker nine with that gold making it pop, performance and break in are great n they last. Most common mc chain by pros so you know you can't go wrong.
This chain needs normal adjustment but lasts way longer than most and gold color lasts for a long time

Im running it on a yfz 450 built to a big bore 478 & not an issue yet. good stuff. an initial adjustment is needed after a good ride but torture it after its all good!!!
Needing a chain to stand up to the demands that our sport put on these bikes an DID 520 ERT2 is our product each an ever time.
The ERT-2 holds up longer than any other chain I have tried I am using it on a a 300cc two stroke and it is the perfect application. The plating holds up great and looks great as well. When an O ring chain has a little too much drag for your application this is your chain.
This chain is one of the best all around chains you can buy for racing or off road riding It has a high tinsel strength and will last a very long time if you take care off it DID makes the best chains period
Also, keep in mind that this is a NON-SEALED chain meaning it has no O-rings as most factory chains are sealed these days. It will require more maintenance than a sealed chain but will have less drag meaning more power to the wheels!
My recommendation would be the D.I.D VX2 or Renthal R3
