D.I.D is the number one motorcycle chain in the world. D.I.D chains are used by factory races teams from all manufacturers in race series everywhere.

The D.I.D X-ring® is superior to other types of O-ring designs; it has half the power loss and 1.5 to 2 times the wear resistance of a normal O-ring chain. D.I.D's patented X-ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed. Normal O-rings and other makers' modified O-rings have squashed points that increase friction. The twisting action of the X-ring disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss. The X-ring's four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-ring. X-rings have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-ring or non-O-ring chain.

  • Uses a special steel alloy designed specifically to provide the extra strength required for quad racing.
  • Features the same low friction, long wearing X-ring technology as D.I.D's VX, ZVM-X, ZLV, and ERV chains.
  • The ATV X-ring chain is engineered to create additional pockets to lock in grease to prolong the life of the chain.
  • Solid rollers.
  • Shot-peened parts.
  • High cylindrical and roundness accuracy.
  • Exacting tolerances provide low friction.
  • Pre-stretched.
  • Extended riveted bushing "Anti-Kink" design.
  • Average tensile strength of 7,600 pounds.
  • Wear life index: 3250.
  • Rated up to a maximum displacement of 750cc.
  • Weight (per 100 links): 3.65 pounds.
  • Includes a clip-style master link.
  • 100 links.

Awesome chain at an affordable price!

I always have run D.I.D chains with great continence and success. Weather your in the mud, sand, at the track or on the trails this chain is a great choice. I have at least a hundred miles on mine so far and havnt even had to adjust it. This includes hard riding during hill climbs and sandy/muddy conditions. I think this is one of the best chains for the money. It rides nice and smooth.

i use this in atv motocross with a built motor on a honda trx 450r and it rarely needs to be tightened. my friend uses sunstar and snapping chains is a daily routine

This is the best chain I've ever had. Ive raced two xc races on it and this chain has barely stretched at all. Definitely worth the money.

Rough start but Great Product

My first impression of this chain was wow! I race XC so a strong chain is important to me. I rode on the chain 3 time and broke the master link. Could've been something that I did but since I've replaced it I haven't had any problems out of it. I have a total of 4 races on this chain and have had little stretching and little signs of wear. Overall I am satisfied and will buy another DID chain when this one wears out.

We race ATVs and this is absolutely the best chain we have ever used. This chain has minimal stretch and lubes very well. After the rigors of MX racing an ATV, this chain shows excellent wearability. We have not replace a chain in over 100 races.

The DID 520 ATV X-Ring Chain is 100 links. You can choose other lengths and cut the chain to the exact length required for you 2006 Yamaha Raptor 700

Can I use a DID 520 ATV chain for a street bike if the sprockets and link number is the same?

I sure you'll need more than 110 link. This ATV chain will more than likely not be enough.

Will this chain stand up to a modified banshee?

X-Ring chains are the strongest chain you can purchase. With that said this would hold up just fine. My only suggestion is to make sure you order the correct link size, if your swingarm is extended.
