Installed the link on my son's KX 65 and I was able to get him from not being able to touch on either side to being able to start the bike on his own. I measured the drop from the end of the fender and that dropped by 4". I would think the actual seat height dropped what they promised. Easy installation and looks good. Not the cheapest on the market, but looks sharp and appears to be thicker than stock. Took me less than an hour to install with raising the forks and setting the rear shock. My little guy is really excited!

The difference in the stock linkage versus the lowering linkage is only 0.25 inches. However, it lowered the rear end of my 2016 450 sxf by 1.375 inches. I have not used it yet so I am unable to rate its durability or performance. Very easy to install.
I used this with a lighter spring and it lowered the bike about 1.5". I feel more comfortable and the handling is still great. Put it on a 12 YZ250f and trail ride mainly.
Product is as described & easy to install
This link will lower the seat and ride height of the bike. This is extremely helpful for shorter riders. It will change how the shock responds so minor adjustments to the compression and rebound may be required based on rider preferences
The link look great not too hard to install best to have a friend to bel it dose lower the seat height but not all that much at 5'8" I need all help I can get it dose help with the link & taking some shock out I can now get my feet on the ground I ride a KTM 450XCF not flat on the ground but a much more secure feeling than stock I would recommend the link
Ordered the Devol lowering link for my daughter's new '16 150r. Install was a breeze and Devol's customer service on the phone was great, but the link, at least on this particular bike, did not lower it 1.5" as stated on the package. It _maybe_ lowered the bike by .5". Not really worth the $170.
Works great! Very easy to install. Definitely worth the money! I'm 5'2 and I couldn't touch the ground and it brought me to at least touch the ground!I'd definitely recommend this to anyone that is short and needs just a couple inches lowered on their bike to touch the ground a little :)
This product works well, it drops your bike about 1 inch. It is durable and easy to install on your bike. It makes it easier to balance sometimes makes for a much smoother ride.
Perfect lowering kit from my bike just enough to where I can put both feet on the ground and feel much more comfortable highly recommended
2010 Yz450 Bike is taller than previous models. Should have put the lowering link in a long time ago. Can sit on bike flat footed, makes it easier to start in the trails.
1 inch drop in the rear. Can plant feet now for the whole shot. Much beter stroke in the whoops. Solid and great look. Love the new feel it gave the rear suspension.
don't yet know about durability since they are new!!
Well built, easy to install less than 10 minutes!! Put the Motorcycle just where my Son needed it!!!
lowered the kx65 1.5" . she will be blasting berms in no time. very easy to install took bout 5 mins.
Does what it says. Just installed on my sons bike and as the instructions say, it does make the back end spongy but this is okay with us until my son is a little taller and we can put the stock ones back on. Recommend pulling out the bushing and applying fresh grease while you have it disassemble. That part gets a lot of work.
