"I've been looking for a pair of thin, low/ankle socks for riding with my race boots, which are uncomfortable with the thicker "sport" socks out there. I also wanted lower socks because on a 100 degree day, the last thing I want is a knee high as the rest all come in. Comfortable - no blisters or pressure lines on my feet after a long day. They wicked away moisture and kept my feet dry. They did what they said. Sizing - I ordered small and they are perfect for my (women's) size 8 feet."

Alpinestars Tech Coolmax Socks Alpinestars Tech Coolmax Socks Alpinestars Tech Coolmax Socks LasVegas426 (Las Vegas, NV) cool and comfortable "Nice socks to keep your feet cool. I was worried about durability because they are thinner than every other MX socks I've owned but for no reason. After a few dozen rides and washes, at this point, they are still in almost like new condition. There's more padding around the foot, where needed, and less material around the shins which is perfect. They are great at keeping my feet as cool as can be in a MX boot in Las Vegas and even out perform my Fox Coolmax socks, my former favorite. I wear a size 10 shoe and the L/XL fits my perfectly. Those who are up to 2 sizes smaller/bigger could probably fit this same sock."

Word of advice, keep the knee brace velcro from sticking to your socks as it will start tearing them up."

Alpinestars Touring Summer Socks Alpinestars Touring Summer Socks Alpinestars Touring Summer Socks swann (Otsego, MN) Keeps boots from chaffing "I bought two pairs so I'd always have a clean set. They fit just right and are plenty ..." "I bought two pairs so I'd always have a clean set. They fit just right and are plenty long enough to keep my boots from chaffing on my calves. Since they are called summer socks, I thought they would be thin like dress socks but they aren't. The part that says alpinestars is kinda beige colored and that part is thin like dress socks (on the sides of the feet, front of the ankles, and back of the calf). The black and white sections of the socks are more like sport socks - thicker with soft loops inside. The top black cuffs are elasticized. They stay up, they don't bunch anywhere, and they fit comfortably. After a couple months, there is a little bit of pilling and some cosmetic wear from the velcro on the boots, but that doesn't affect the function of the socks so it doesn't bother me."

"So comfortable, its not until you actually wear them for an entire day of riding and realize why didn't you get a pair sooner! they really do keep your feet cooler on hot days. only down side is they can get wrecked by the Velcro on your boots if your not careful putting them on & off"
