For the money okay but not great.
Overall I am impressed with the initial feel of the helmet and the sizing seems to fit my oval shaped head pretty well. The venting is adequate but not exceptional. The vision is decent as well with a nice eye port and good shield clarity. Overall this is a good helmet for the money.....with one caveat. It is very loud. I won this helmet at a track day sposored by my local dealer and they gave it away as a door prize. I would never have bought this helmet as I usually buy Shoei or Arai. Compared to those two brands the Scorpion is very loud but that is my only real complaint. I would be willing to try Scorpions higher end stuff but would never purchase the 400.

Freakin awesome.
Dude, this is seriously awesome. Flying down the highway at 90, and I can't feel the wind at all!!! It looks good, and even the low-key matte black is a head turner- I love the vent system, although it takes some getting accustomed to.Fit is true, and comfy,a great helmet.

Best Bang for the Buck!
I enjoy wearing this helmet. I regularly wear my Icon Domain Decay helmet and got used to it. Threw the EXO-400 on today, threw the dark smoke shield on, and hit the country back roads! First thing I noticed was how this helmet silenced the wind and remained well ventilated. Second thing I noticed was how well this helmet compliments the black/matte black GSX-R!

Excellent Helmet
I have used HJC helmets for at least 10 years and could never justify the jump to a "premium" helmet, paying $300 more for a some minor creature comforts. The Scorpion has all these comforts without the price. If you set this helmet next to a Shoei or Arai without the labels on them, you would never be able to tell the difference. I'm eagerly awaiting the EXO-1000
