not bad
" without looking at directions was easy to put together. it is of poor quality though and had to get the bike on it to contour to its shape. other than that, it is a great stand, can move the bike around on it and seems to be very sturdy. "

Don't cut corners,get this kit!!
" I installed this clutch on my R1 and I love it! Installation was easy, had all the bits in it,but if you are overly retentive be forewarned on an 04-06 yammie there is a belleville spring to reduce noise when clutch is disengaged behind the rearmost steel and a safety wire thickness snap ring to retain the rearmost steel not included in the kit....I am overly picky however and mine was in plenty reusable condition so it was a non-issue...the steels are far superior to factory ones so don't cut corners by just using a fiber kit....get the whloe kit!!!totally worth it!!! Watch That Width Setting
" Overall good product but width is a little wide for a Ninja 600. The adjusters just barely accomodate a 600 and you have to be very careful. A slight bump can knock your bike off the stand and cause the bike to fall. If you have a 600, may want to buy a stand specifically made for that size. "

A real bargain
" I wasn't sure about this product, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy the Vortex at almost double the cost. I was worried about quality after reading the post about it bending. Well worry no more, after the 30 second assembly time, I had my bike up in the air ready for service. I would agree that it is too small for some of our Plus sized bikes. "

Great product
" I love that this can come apart and can more or less lay flat. I don't have a garage so I have to keep it in my car because the wife won't let anything auto related into the flat. "

Stand is too Narrow for Larger Bike
" This stand does not fit larger sport bikes such as hyabusas or ZX14's. It is too narrow and will not fit outside the swingarm. Force required to lift the bike is high due to short handle, This is a great high stand for a smaller bike such as GSXR's. "

Works great
" I was a bit weary about buying this stand after reading some of the reviews but I am glad that I did. I have used it half a dozen times to lift my bike and it is great. I don't know how I didn't have one before. My bike weighs about 420 lbs and this stand lifts it effortlessly. It is very sturdy even with someone sitting on it. "

HP TOOLS rear stand
" I wasnt sure about which stand to buy in the beginning but i knew i wanted to save money. I had a coupon for here so i went with this stand. I read a review that someone had bent theirs trying to lift their bike? I wasnt sure how this was possible?? The first time i lifted my bike it worked GREAT!! I have moved my bike around on it, lifted it, worked on it. I put the stand to the test. And it has worked flawlessly...I am very happy with the quality and price of this item. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, cheap stand. I use this stand without any swingarm spools and it still works great. I couldnt imagine this thing bending at all?!?!?!?! It is rock solid and i am confident enough to leave my bike on it at all times. Im at work right now and my bike is safe and sound on the stand in my garage. Very happy with the item. GREAT BUY! "

Bad Luck
" I bought this stand for my 2005 GSXR 600. I was able to put the stand together very easy and when I went to lift my bike, the stand bent. my bike weighs less than 400lbs and should have no trouble with it at all I was told. I called MotoSport and told them about it and they told me they would recommend the Vortex stand before the HP Tools stand. "

Works Great
" You hear a lot of talk about having to use a stand strong enough to lift a house. I bought this figuring I would reinforce it - cheaper and faster than building my own, but it works great out of the box. I use it with spools on my SV650S and without spools on my SuperHawk. No issues. Easily rolls the bike around the shop also. "
will this stand work on my 2008 gsxr 1000

Due to this stand supports motorcycle from the swing arm or swingarm spools makes this very universal. Also it has adjustable width to accommodate most sport bikes.

Will this HP Tool rear stand work on my 07 Yamaha R1?
Asked by Emoney619
This stand will fit a sport bike that has either rear spools or a swing arm. I'm gonna guess you bike has either one, so yes this should work.
