Cortech Sport Tail Bag on a DR650SE

Received my tail bag today from Motosport (quick as always). Absolutely love the bag. It is the perfect size for a stock 2009 DR650SE with just the rear grab rails. It fits nicely in between the rear signal lights. The included bungi staps cinch the bag very tight and secure on the bike.

Its just a tad wider than the grab rails, but rest on top of them without a problem.

Bag is also quite room with the sides expanded. Storaing a spare half helmet, laptop, etc. are no problem.

Check out the attached picures if you care to see how it looks (side image and front to back image).

Very nice

I love this bag. I wish I would have got one sooner. The build quality is very good and the built in bungee cords work perfectly to attach to my bike. Its bigger than i thought it would be and fits tons of stuff. I got this to replace my tank bag on the majority of rides I go on and it does so perfectly. It takes less than 10 seconds to put it on or take it off. The bungee cord is very soft and doesnt scratch the paint where it touches.

Great bag, great deal

Expands to fit my 16" laptop and some books. Fits just about anything I need for my commute or day outing.
I would recommend adding some light weight, rigid material to the base of the bag, so it holds it shape better while on the bike.
I cut an old clipboard to shape and made this mod. It now sits perfectly on my bikes tail piece('07 Suzuki Bandit 1250s), leaving the rear seat free for 2 up riding (or more stuff), and allows you to utilize the full capacity of the bag.

Excellent companion to super mini tank bag

Whatever won't fit in the Cortech super mini tank bag, will fit in the Cortech Sport Tail Pack. Tools, can of chain lube, patch kit, face shield, and clothes for the Gym can be carried safely in the Cortech Sport Tail Pack. Great for commuting to work or for a weekend trip. I can't live without it now!

Great addition

I purchased this to be able to take my lunch to work and any other items I might need. It did the job, stays put, is durable and a necessity.

Money Well Spent

Have used this tail bag for a year now. It is awesome. Holds a ton of stuff, easily expands or contracts without removing it from the seat, and can be removed from the bike easier than a bungeed on gym bag. Easily transferred between bikes. With a 50 mile commute, I use it daily right up until winter. Then I tuck in the straps and use it as a briefcase until I strap it on the bike again in the spring. Very rugged. Still looks new after 1 year and about 10,000 miles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great Alternative to a Tankbag

I borrowed one of these tail packs for a long day-ride and was amazed at how much it held and how good it looked, so I bought one for myself. I love it! Lunch, glasses, water and iced tea. Side organization pockets, and it has expansion zippers if you go shopping along the way.
It's slightly more awakward getting on and off the bike, but you don't have a tankbag in front of you all the time you're riding. I use it all the time. Well made product at a VERY reasonable price.
