I wear a size 44 sport coat, my waist is 31", I bought the large size, thought it would be baggy in the waist and rear end, but it is tight, really tight, I suppose it will stretch some, but for comfort you might want to order 1 size larger than your average sport coat. This is a very heavy duty leather, with really good body armor, I was surprised by it's weight, pretty heavy, which indicates the thickness of the leather. I hope I never hit the ground with it, but it will keep a rider from being lacerated.

I am quite pleased with my Cortech Latigo RR Leather One-Piece Suit. Thanks to Motosport.com it arrived in a matter of days. (5 to be exact… and considering that I ordered it on a Friday evening that’s not bad at all) The Cortech Latigo RR was surprisingly easy to break in. I am 5’8” and a whopping 155 lbs. needless to say the Mens MD/42 has a bit of “extra” fabric, but is still a surprisingly great fit. I have worn it on tracks in TX during the summer months of July and August. It goes without saying that the suit is a bit “warm” when off the bike, but once you’re “rolling” the vented leather is soon appreciated. I also have the Cortech Latigo Vented Boots, and the Cortech Gloves. I am trying to think of CONS for the suit, but nothing really comes to mind. I suppose Cortech could put Kevlar protection plates in the suit, but then we would have to pay much more than $540.(at Motosport.com) If you’re looking for a warm weather one-piece race suit I don’t see how you could go wrong in purchasing the Cortech Latigo RR Leather One-Piece.
My first 1 piece and i hugs the body great and is feels VERY durable. I am an very aggressive street rider crossing over to the track so i wanted something budget friendly and durable as my first suit. I have used other Cortech brands and this suit sure did not let me down. If you are like me and spend days/weeks researching to get the best bang for your buck as well as quality Cortech did an outstanding job, and i say look no further.
This suit is great. Really durable and comfortable. I went down in this yesterday at about 50, low sided and slid about 40 feet on pavement, gravel, and a few feet on grass and the suit held up great. really happy with it.
This suit is awesome quality and at half of what the other suits cost. I compared this with other $1k suits and this suit wins in quality, protection, and style. (I got the white/red/black) It even comes with Cortech knee sliders and a decent bag to store the suit in.
I'm 6' 1" / 188 lbs and according to their fit chart, I should have ordered a large. From experience with Cortech/Tour Master rain suits being too small, I went up to an XL (48) and it fits like a glove. I wore it all day at track and was cool and comfortable from 6am to 6pm. Great product all around! (Be sure to invest in back armor - this suit has a spine pad, but not the armor. The knees, elbows, forearms, and shoulders all have ce grade armor.)
