Perfect Fit

The original bars held up great when I hit cinders on a turn. The damage was minimized. The new one attached very easily.

Solid bars

Litterally. These Highway/Crash/Freewaybars are outstanding. I had these on my bike before the accident and they did exactly what they are supposed to do, protect you and your bike. Naturally, this baby was going right back on my repaired bike.

For the price I paid compared to what the cost of damage that could have happened by not have them installed does not compare. Buy these and you'll thank yourself after a nasty spill!

I think Cobra probably has the best finish when it comes to chrome. I ordered based on my 1100 Honda Shadow took some dojng to get it on my bike and had to go to hardware store to buy longer bolts twice . The ones supplied for the top 4 bolts arent long enuf . I bought 1" 5/16" bolt and make it easier. Also the left bolt you remove inorder to put in spacer and attatch the bottom of bar ends up too short becauseof the additional spacer and bar......but NO WHERE does it say this.....
Took awhile to put on...but looks great.!!!

Crash bar for 2003 Honda vlx?
Last bar I bough can only be mounted in center,,,,horn mount is screwed in place an inch off the center,,,is there a crash bar I can buy that does not need a new hole drilled

The cobra crash bars typically mount at the bottome of the bike by using the peg mounts and at towards the top of the bike using U-brackets that go around the frame and screw into the crash bars.

No perm modifications required.
