Great purchase

I love the pipes! It arrived in perfect condition and installing it was easy specially since it came with all the parts necessary. It sounds great and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking a better sound for their bike.

Only one issue

Installed on my 2004 VStar 1100 Classic, looks and sounds great. Nice tone to the sound and crisp crack on throttle. I did however run into one issue. My bike has had the Oil Filter Relocation Kit done to, and the relocation kit for the rear brake cylinder does not work with my current modification. Working out the issue, cuz really like the pipes.

Sound Terrific

I have a set of these on my V-Star 1100 Silverado. Not only are they beautiful, but they sound terrific. All of my Harley buds keep telling me that they can't believe my bike is 'just' an 1100. I am still running with baffles in, and it is plenty loud. I don't think I'd like it any louder. Keep 'em in. If you are looking for 'louder' pipes than the factory hushers, but don't want the 'straight pipe' sound, these are definitely worth their price. Love 'em.

A: No if the bike runs flawlessly with the set up you have on it now and you are replacing with the exact same set up no jetting or re tuning is necessary.

Q: Baffle replacement?

I'm looking for replacement baffles for the classic slash cut deluxe's on my 2004 Honda shadow sabre 1100. I took my originals out the pipes and the broke. The bike sounds awful without baffles. Which cobra baffles would fit in the pipe as a replacement?

Q: Re jetting?

With a full system will i need re jetting and what about popping and backfire with these aftermarket pipes

A: Generally when installing a full system re-jetting will be required. There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.
