Bridgestone Tire Combo

Can not really review these tires as they are going on a show bike that will not be ridden. They do have a very nice tread pattern.

Bridgestones simply hook-up

Excellent tires! So much so I keep looking for the older 403-404 combo that I know work well and put off buying the newest similar tire, well until I have to. MotoX, Harescrambles, and Enduro racing these tires hook-up well in intermediate/mixed terrain!

Great tires

I ride track and trails, GNCC style riding. The front tire is a great all around tire. the rear tire is great on straight line and hooks up well on all surfaces, does not corner as well as some but predictable.

Great Tires for the woods!

Believe it or not I prefer a soft tire for the Northeast Rocky Woods and I love these Bridgestones! I used them for the last few years on my Ktm and Now I run them on my Husky TE 250! Love them in the woods!

Great tire

First practice ride I was in love, first race and I'm still in love, but they seems to be wearing a little quicker than I'd hoped. 20 laps on a sand track and 30 laps on hard/ intermediate track and I'm seeing some rounding of the knobs. It'll be tough to experiment with other tires after riding these. Front tire has no wear at all!

THE ONLY TIRES I WILL BUY FROM NOW ON!

back in around February I bought the m404 and since then I have done 4-5 long desert rides (70-90) miles on a 04 yz 125 and I have riden the track a lot and I am fairly good and hammer around the corners and I have had a few Pirellis and dunlops and I only got about 5 hard rides until I started shredding knobbies off but this back tire is a BOSS it handles great and from February till mid November I have put around 55 hours of hard riding on it and I am just getting a new one!! I LOVE THIS TIRE

Excellent tires

These are the only tires ill run on my bikes. They wear very good, hook up great, and are easier to install than the mx51's. Their performance is similar to to starcross, but they last much longer. I've tested these tires back to back with mx51's, and they are hands down better tires. It seems like they are made of a softer rubber than the 51's, but have more blocks. Buy them, you won't regret it.

Best Tire Combo by FAR!

I have used the 403/404 combo in the past, and will not use any other tire. In my opinon, the best tire for use in all conditions esp. for those of us riding on a budget that can't change tires everytime the conditions change. And they last twice as long as the MX51's.

Mx 50 what ?

Like most people, I was afraid to try anything but Dunlops. 739's and 756's back in the day and then Mx 51's until recently. After experimenting with 51's Maxxis IT's and the Bridgestones I have found a new favorite tire. The Bridgestone 403 and 404 is my favorite tire combo. This combo inspired the most confidence in my riding and wears at a reasonable rate. I am an intermediate level Mx rider from Central California and I ride mostly Intermediate to hard pack soil and your occasional River bed sand track.

Best All-Around Tire Combo

I use these on 250F and 450F and a 250 2 stroke riding so cal tracks. They work great across a wide range of track types (e.g. loamy, hard pack, etc.). They last a decent amount of time; you'll get 2 - 3 rides with the "new" feel, then 6 - 8 more before the knobs are rounded and/or starting to chunk off. These are the only tires I use.

Q: The numbers?
what do the numbers stand for in the type of tire? such as m601 / 80 / 100-21 and m202 / 100 / 90-19
Drewski
MotoSport Staff
Over 8 years ago Location: Portland, OR
A: This is what those numbers mean in this order. Applies to front and rear sizes.
80: Width of Tire
100: Aspect ratio of height to width.
21: Rim Size
Moto2four
Over 3 years ago Location: Baton Rouge, LA, USA
A: The "m" number signifies the terrain type the tire is aimed at. Lower numbers for softer terrain, higher numbers for harder packed terrain. The 80/100/21 is the tire size. The first is a width, second is height, third is rim size.
