Husqvarna Motorcycles will field a team in the 2014 Moto3 World Championship with Brit Danny Kent set to be the squad's official rider. He will be joined by Finn Niklas Ajo and the team will run under the banner of Red Bull Husqvarna Factory Racing and will be run by team manager Aki Ayo

Aussie Moto2 star Anthony West has been handed an 18-month ban retrospectively, meaning he loses all Moto2 results he recorded dating back to the date of a blood sample showing he tested positive for the banned substance methylhexaneamine on May 20, 2012. That includes both of his podium finishes, on home soil and in Malaysia.
MotoGP legend Mick Doohan confirmed his entry in the 2013 Race of Champions which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand at the Rajamangala Stadium, on December 14-15. Doohan competes against the likes of legendary F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, Le Mans 24 Hour legend Tom Kristensen, World Rally Champion Sebastien Ogier.

Spain's legendary Superprestigio Solo Moto trophy will be held again in Barcelona on January 11th 2014 at the Palau Sant Jordi arena. The race will be held as charity event and with MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 world champions Marc Marquez, Pol Espargaro and Maverick Vinales on the grid, among other roadracers
