Works excellent

My battery came fully charged. I bought the tender just in case. Works awesome. A real noticeable difference compared to the stock battery.

I charged the battery for about 2 hours before i put it in my quad it started right up. I have a 2007 TRX400ex and its been sitting in the garage for about a month now and it still fires right up. I definitley would buy another one of these batteries.

Right battery, right price.

I had Lithium batteries and while they saved weight they do not work any better or last any longer. This battery, is the exact same size and weight as OEM but lasts MUCH longer. Very happy with this product. Highly recommend it.

I got the power!

Battery came fully charged, fit correctly and looks like a quality item. I do wish, however, that the semi-captive nuts on the terminals were spaced better, as I have to slip a screwdriver under them to get them close enough to engage the terminal screw. I've had this same issue with other brand motorcycle batteries. The real test of course is how many years this battery lasts, and as Sammy Hagar once sang so aptly while in Van Halen "only time will tell if we stand the test of time". Amen!

2003 Predator

Great battery, Just pulled it out of the box, installed battery and fired the quad off faster than my last battery ever did. Great battery for a fair price.

OK and just OK

First lets say that the battery seems to have good starting power and it does not spill electrolyte when the bike is dropped.
BUT the battery is not the the stock size and fits poorly in the compartment. The positive terminal is very close to the metal frame, and since the configuration is slightly different, the positive terminal cover does not fit properly . VERY close to having a dead short to the frame. Also the terminals are very short so it is impossible to put a box wrench or a 1/4 drive socket over the terminal bolts.
A nice stock Yuasa will be my choice for my next battery. The Chinese build quality on the BikeMaster is poor.

Will this battery fit a 03 TTR 250 Yamaha? And is the battery ready to use or does it have to be charged first?
MotoSport Staff Expert
1 year 4 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
Yes, This battery would work perfectly in your 2003 Yamaha TTR250. The battery comes with a light charge and should be ready for use right out of the box. It would not be a bad idea to hook the battery up to a trickle charger to bring it up to fully charged though.

Unfortunately, I would not have any application chart to show me if this battery would fit go-carts.

What accessories are included?
Does this battery come with a charger?
MotoSport Staff Expert

This is only the battery itself. I would come with the screws and square nuts to hook it up to the bike but the charger is not included. I would recommend looking into the Battery Tender products for a charger for this battery.
