Brittle glue

The bolt is aluminum. The magnet likes metal. The inner's of the engine are metal. The glue holding the magnet in is very brittle. Any questions?

Its a drain plug

Just as stated a magnetic Oil Drain plug. I had no issue with fitment. The magnet is strong. I was thrown off by the black color of the plug received. I think it was coated with something. Over all it does it job of keeping the oil in.

Odd size oil drain plug

2008 VStar 1300 with a 10x1.25 mm thread. They had it when the Yamaha dealer didn't.

Nice product

Well made and does what it is designed to do. I did drill a hole in it to safety wire it since the torque rating for aluminum is lower than the heavy steel non magnetic stock item.

Do you have one that will fit a 2008 KX125?

2005 was the last year for the KX125 here in the USA.The drain plug should be the same but you would need to verify with a local Kawasaki dealer. The part number for the stock 2005 KX125 drain plug is 92066-1437. If your local dealer says that is the same part number for your 2008 than it will fit.

Yes this will fit your 2005 YZ250. You will need to check the Yamaha service manual or with your local service department for torque specs.

The oil drain plug should be on the bottom of your engine. You should not have to remove your fuel tank to remove or install it.

For you 2005 R1, this would be a 14mm drain plug and would require a 14mm washer.
