Good for the price

This is a solid made helmet. It definitely meets DOT specs...it is huge on my head. Not very streamlined. I could be biased because this is the first DOT approved half helmet I have worn in 10 years of riding. It is comfortable, and seems ok with 75mph freeway speeds. The ear flaps are a plus...muffles the sound of the wind and my bike. Overall good helmet for the price.

Besides being too heavy, and mushroom headed, the chin strap chokes you when you tighten it. I would not recommend this helmet.

Great looking helmet and fits like it should.

Very comfortable

What's w/ the chin strap?!?!?!

On first observation, the looks and style of the helmet are nice. That's about the only thing good about this brain bucket. My complaint is the chin strap. Seems as though it could've been designed where the straps are facing a bit more forward to allow more clearance for your neck. With the helmet on and fully fastened the strap rubs on my neck and is very uncomfortable. Am I the only one?

Looks cool, but hard to fasten

i like the looks, and it fits good and is petty comfortable.. the 2 metal rings used to fasten are very thin and are very difficult to fasten/unfasten.. i can barely get it to come undone.. i am gonna look into a quick release, and that would solve it, but as it comes, it is very difficult to say the least..

Bell combat canvas drifter helmet

I really like the helmet. This helmet met my expectations to the fullest. Good quality, good finish and detail. All my friends dig it.

A: Bell lists the weight as 900 grams. Unfortunetly they have not provided a picture of the helmet on someones head. It is a DOT approved helmet and has about 1" padding and will not be as minimal as a novelty helmet

A: If you want to see it on somebody then watch "Wild Hogs." John Travolta is wearing a Bell Drifter in the movie.
