Great Exhaust

This exhaust was purchased for a 2005 Honda CRF150F and fit perfectly from header to muffler. No fighting to get it lined up and all bolts fit as they should. The main jet sent with the system was exactly what was needed to tune it. It is a little loud for what we do but it is manageable and we will be trying the silencer on it next. Great performance, fit, and look.

A: We do not have sound ratings for all of the exhausts that we carry. This will be much louder then the stock exhaust on your Honda CRF150.

A: This exhaust is available for the 2009 CRF230F. It is going to be louder than the stock exhaust but if it is too loud for your tastes, there is a quiet core available that will quiet it down a few decibels.

Q: How would you know if your bike needed to be rejetted?

A: Typically after installing an aftermarket exhaust system the bikes tend to run lean. If your bike is too lean it will backfire on deceleration when letting off the throttle. This is the easiest way to know if you are too lean. The other way to tell is to check the spark plug after a little bit of riding with the new exhaust. If the spark plug is a light gray to white, then it is too lean. On the flip side though, if it is black the bike will be too rich. You want the spark plug to be a nice brown color when jetted correctly.

Q: What all comes with it other than the actual exhaust?

A: This will include only the exhaust system. It will not come with anything else. Keep in mind when installing a full system exhaust, that depending on your bike model and location, jetting may need to be modified for the bike to run properly.
