Ballistic evo2

I had this Ballistic evo 2 battery in my Cannondale quad for 2 years and it died. I kept excellent care of it and it still failed me. I expect much more from a battery that cost me over $150,00. My mechanic buddy tore the battery down to hopefully fix the bad cells and told me the quallity of cells was better on his RC car. I absolutely would not reccomend this battery to anyone.

Ballistic EVO2

Awesome battery!!!!!! This thing is so small, lightweight but packs a power punch. I have HIDS on my quad and plan on adding a LED kit an LED light pole. I know with this battery ill have the power to light it up!!!!

This battery does not work in the cold!!!

This battery has left me stranded every time it got below 50 degrees. The company told me that this is normal in cold weather. Ballistic now recommends this battery for RACE ONLY and Not for Cold Conditions, for my bike; the Triumph Daytona 675. This would have been nice to know before I bought the battery. And no, they would not refund my money. So much for the 3-year Warranty!!

Even after sitting several months over the winter. My ktm 300 turned right over and started with out having to charge the battery like I've had to do with other brands.

Poor product

Specifically ordered this Ballistic EVO2 battery for my 2006 Ducati 999 per the manufacturer's guide.

I Swapped the EVO2 out with my stock Yuasa battery and this battery will NOT start my bike. I then actually called the local Ducati authorized Dealer and their service manager stated that they have not had one of these batteries work as claimed in a Ducati.

I will be returning this battery and replacing it with the OEM battery I should have bought in the first place.

Good battery

I got tired of my battery needing constant tending if I didn't drive it everyday. Here in Austin, the driving season is all year, but in the winter we'll get some cold overnight lows. If you aren't really disciplined, your lead acid battery just isn't going to last more than 3 years.

I did a lot of forum searching between the Ballistic EVO2 and the Shorai and they seemed compatible products. The Ballistic folks had a much better customer service rep so I went with them. It's smaller and lighter and comes with some foam for you to pack it into your bike's battery compartment so it won't jostle. I've had it in for two weeks and my 1050cc speed triple has started like a champ, no complaints.
