Scott No Fog Fan Kit Scott No Fog Fan Kit Scott No Fog Fan Kit slowbee Tried it on a mud race "I wear glasses nd fogging while wearing goggles is real problem. I'm hare-scrambler ..." "I wear glasses and fogging while wearing goggles is a real problem. I'm a hare-scrambler and generally its ok, but in more technical (read slow) sections that's where things get foggy. The fan kit was mounted on a generic model of scott goggle. It mounts easy and should fit just about any brand. I added a piece of electrical tape to cover the battery door because it seemed easy to come loose and I didn't want a plastic cover rattling around inside my goggles if it did. The actual fan has a three position switch, off, full on and automatic. the automatic is supposed to come on when the humidity gets too high. Tried this out on a muddy local race. Temp was in the 50's and the rain was fairly steady before and through about first 1/2 of the race. Since I had only tried the fan during a couple short practice setions I didn't risk trying the automatic feature, so i set if full on. In your hand if feels heavier, but I didn't notice the difference once you put them on. I was also suprised you really don;t see them either. Every once in a while you may hear the motor running but in general you don't notice them at all. it worked pretty well for the first hour, including some crashes, complete stops at bottlenecks and other goggle fogging events. Then after a particular low speed section they fogged, I tried lifting a corner or the top of the goggle to let some heat out but no good I had to remove the goggles. All in all I'd say they helped but didn't eliminate the fogging. If I wouldn't have had them on I would have had to ditch them long before. So for now I'll keep using them to give them a fair shake out over several more races. its promising but no cure all"

"Easy to mount and operate. I wear glasses, doesn't interfere with fit. I run GNCC races and before the fan, could only keep my goggles and glasses on 15min before fogging up. Now can run 2hrs without any fogging problems. Definately worth the money!"
